Antique Oak Dresser

Considering purchasing an oak bedroom dresser from the 1920's. The piece is beautiful, original finish, no major dings, scratches, etc. Very well taken care of. The only repair I see that was made over the years was that the wood on the bottom of the drawer was replaced. Assuming it was due to items stored in the drawer over the years that were too heavy and caused the wood bottom to crack or split? Will this affect its value a whole lot? Other than that, like I said, it looks to be all original and well taken care of, and I think it is really a beautiful piece of furniture.
