Awww, it's an owlet in the pot! Thanks for the link, Mark. Rachel, We were watching a red tailed hawk nest one year and the next spring I caught a glimpse of movement in the same nest. We took our binocs and hiked out to see the 'hawks' again. The nest was occupied by a GHO family. The mom about scared me to death when I finally focused in and saw her aggravated stare! Our observation is that they will use existing nests to raise their brood. It was a huge stick nest too. Pam

You might ask if this is the Classic or Select version, but I have read the new Select is even better. Can't always believe what you hear though. We do a LOT of high heat wok cooking and also have a Miele built in deep fat fryer. We use all of this frequently and have done so for 7 years. We have no backsplash. Only paint on sheetrock. There has been no change at all in the quality of the painted wall since it was installed 7 yrs ago. I have BM Regal Matte paint that is scrubbable after 30 days. I regularly scrub it with a soapy dishcloth. There is no reason that you too can't have a painted backsplash . I have it throughout my kitchen. Here is only one of 100's of pics. When we moved into the house I live in now, the living room diningroom, den, solarium and hallways was painted a similar color....but the previous owners had tossed the paint cans and didnt' remember. After many false starts, including mixing blues and greens and greys, I finally took a door off of a cupboard and found a knowledgeable paint dealer and matched the paint! It was a certain tint base, but the color added to make the "light grey green" was black..... Who knew!

Look at Hunter Douglas Vignettes in white to match trim. They are a roman shade that will add softness and not be "clinical". I love mine and I also have panels on the sides. I think they look great even without panels. Clean & fresh. Also if you bought the same size rug lay it out the other way so that it is wider than the sofa.
