I just noticed I was replying to a very, very old post, but figured I'd leave it in case anyone is still reading. I had a bad experience with this zinsser oil based interior/exterior cover stain as well. I did not tint but it is tintable. I used it right after buying from depot and having it shaken for 5 min at the counter. I applied on an outside beam that was partially prepped with a wood hardener after removing dry rot, but the majority was just the previous paint that was in good shape. 2 days after painting, it's still slightly tacky. I called zinsser support and they said the only thing they could think of is if I had been applied on too hot of a day, saying it needs to be under 80F. It was topped out at just under 70 the day I painted, but the sun here does get hot in the South Bay below San Francisco, so maybe the surface was hotter?? I'll check today compared to air temp. If temperature wasn't the cause, then my experience seems similar to yours. In my case it would be a huge job to remove the product from the large outdoor beam so I'm looking for other solutions. I still need to add an epoxy pc woodie filler where I had removed and cleaned out dry rot before applying the cover stain (just used to make sure the pc woodie epoxy would stick and add an extra layer of protection against the weather to the entire beam...which I now wish I had skipped!) My current plan is to wait it out a week or 2 and hopefully dries (next week is supposed to be low 70's but the rest of this week is 80's. In the upper 80's the 2nd layer is even forming a few bubbles, so I've just been popping those to make sure it dries out beneath. It's only slightly tacky, but looking for no tackiness before I take the next step. If anyone has any tips or any idea if waiting longer will help, let me know please. Thanks! And for the next time, a better product to use than this zinsser oil based primer which was highly recommended by depot.

Thank you. I have been neglecting my gardens so much this spring lol. I am keeping all my roses but have been moving and removing alot of the livestock "toxic" type plants and replacing with non toxic and food/fruiting plants. So basically everything is a disaster haha. We also are expanding our veggie garden quite a bit so I can fit in a few more 4x8 raised beds. I have roses, bananas and other crazy plants stuffed in my veggie garden too now. We are also making new goat and pig pastures. Its been so hot & muggy that it has been slow going. I hope fall comes early!! Which rose society do you belong to? I keep thinking I need to join a rose society. I am almost out by Callahan. A tour might be fun if/when I ever get my stuff together, lol. I dont really have a fancy garden or anythibg just hodge-podge flowerbeds and pot ghettos with a bunch of farm animals mixed in Haha. I wish you were my neighbor! It would be a huge improvement over the ones I have now lol. We live in an area with lots of crowing roosters and people with llamas, horses, etc not everybody likes to be woke up at 5 or 6 am to rooster serenades. :) but I like it. We got these 2 little Nigerian Dwarf girls recently. They are so little, smaller than the bottle baby Lamancha doeling I have even though they are a few weeks older than her.

Closed the bottom freezer drawer of our Kitchenaid French door fridge - it got caught on the lid of an ice cream container but closed anyway. The next time i opened the drawer, the lid to that container was gone. We've looked everywhere for that dang lid - and I mean everywhere - pulled out the fridge (cleaned everything behind it and inside it - no lid in the area where the freezer drawer goes into when it's shut}. We are out of ideas other than there's a poltergeist in the house having a good laugh. Any suggestions??

Our broccoli and collards look great. They stand up to freezes well. Last year I planted spigarello lisca broccoli. It doesn't make heads like broccoli, but it made wonderful greens that didn't mind our summer and laughed at bugs. I need to remember to plant it next year. Nancy, I've frozen mushrooms like that, but I thought you bought them frozen, LOL. Funny Rick I know the terms slave cylinder and master cylinder from a truck that sat in our front yard for a long time. Ron kept replacing parts on the clutch. He finally sold the truck. If I remember correctly Totally Tomatoes was a good company that was sold. Not so good since then. Seeds n Such has beefmaster. I think the owner used to own totally tomatoes. (I think this was a Đawn story.) I have purchased from Seeds n such. They're ok, and I think when someone had problems with germination they were quick to resolve the issue. We do buy canned soup, makes a quick lunch. I prefer Progresso brand. They have great tomato Basil soup. And every now and then I like old fashioned Campbell's tomato soup with grilled cheese sandwiches. That brings back memories. (I am very nostalgic today). Moni, native Ginger and what comes from the store are different. I tried to grow grocery store Ginger without success. I don't know where Danny got his, which I believe he said was native wild ginger. Re: holidays...I've never been much of a Baker. Occasional cookies. But I realized when Travis was 2 he didn't understand the book with cookies coming out of the oven because he'd never seen it. I always felt overwhelmed taking care of kids and house, so Christmas added to my stress. I don't have those stresses now, but memories make me less then than enthusiastic. Of course Christmas morning is good, just not the lead up. Ok, this was done in "colornote" and the keyboard behaved. In Houzz I would type something and it would jump over to before the last letter of the previous word and type the next word there. Sometimes it skipped letters, usually vowels. It did the same when I changed keyboard apps. I changed to Firefox because chrome gave me trouble with Houzz. I suspect it is houzz, but I don't know where to go now. I don't have room for another app. Also, today FB won't let me paste. Instead of the paste option it says auto complete. If I press that, it asks for a password. In a comment. WTF? Enjoy your weekend.
