At the rate and level you use a propane heater, it may not have the same effect on your plants... it may not be enough to affect anything... it may be that certain plants aren't as adversely affected by the exhaust, either. I'm not really sure. I just remember very clearly all the poor Poinsettias dropping wrinkled, yellowed leaves... some of the plants wilting and dying... it was quite a loss. I think if you're circulating a little fresh air into the mix, you will avoid any possibility of bad effects. Good air circulation is important for enclosed growing spaces, so it's something we do commonly, anyway. I'm so glad to hear you are getting some relief from cortisone shots! That's great news! :-) My husband went through the cortisone shots decades ago, when they first were trying to treat his damaged spine. They worked on a temporary basis, but the damage is too great, I think. He's been through every treatment there is, except actual surgery... which we refuse to go through. There are no guarantees he would come through any surgery without becoming completely paralyzed, and we're just not willing to take the chance, until he already is paralyzed. At that point, we have nothing to lose by trying. Of all the people we know who have gone under the knife for back problems... and that includes quite a few people... not one has gotten the results they expected, and a few are worse for having had surgery. We don't like the odds. And we can't afford the best surgeons or the best treatments, so we're kind of stuck. The last treatments he had were some steroid injections, which seem to have given him more range of motion in his neck, which is a good thing... but his back is about the same. It's trashed. I'm in better shape than he is... but we're both what we call "semi-crippled", or actually semi-disabled. Oh, well... what can you do? We just roll with the punches... life goes on! It's nothing spectacular... just a small 10'x12' Harbor Freight special. We got it on sale, and had a carpenter friend put it up for us. African Violets are so pretty, but I haven't had much luck growing them. They always seem to die on me. I'm very lucky to get the few orchids I have to stay alive and limp along! In fact, I freaked myself out earlier... I went to mist the Phal I recently transplanted into a new pot... it was dying in the moss the grower had it in... and I noticed that the tiny little Dendrobium keiki that Chaz sent me several years ago is throwing up its very first buds!!! It's the first or second picture on the first page of my 2011 photo album. I'm so stoked!! I actually kept it alive, and it's decided to gift me with blooms! I couldn't be happier! See? This is one of those wonderful moments in life that I would have missed if I hadn't been taking my time, looking carefully at all my plants... it's just amazing! :-) I hope I didn't jinx it into dropping its buds! ;-) Oh, anyway... Dear Faron: My husband read my post and made some corrections. I'll answer you and make the corrections below in UPPER CASE. I'M NOT YELLING, THOUGH :) 1) You applied a tinted latex primer over contractors work. Correct? YES 2) Exactly what primer & tone of color were used? BENJ MOORE PRIMER FRESH START ACRYLIC. STONE SOMETHING, A MEDIUM COLOR AT 50% WAS USED TO TINT. 3) Your own joint-compound repairs were done OVER this newly primed surface?? YES, BUT IT REALLY WASN'T THE SEAMS, IT WAS MORE SLIGHT LOW AREAS IN THE SKIM COAT. 4) Were YOUR repairs primed over? YES WITH THE SAME BENJ MOORE FRESH START. 5) What do you mean by the "joint-compound with a latex additive"? Or, am I mis-reading this? HUSBAND CORRECTED ME THAT IT WAS A VINYL SPACKLE. 6) At any point...was the wall ever sanded AND vacuumed off?? THE WALL WAS SANDED DOWN TO A SMOOTH FINISH AND WIPED WITH A DRY CLOTH PRIOR TO PAINTING. This is what we determined. Yesterday morning was foggy/dewy. This is being painted in our future house (old construction though) where no a/c or heat was run. Husband said the windows had condensation on the outside. The bubbling occurred most on the wall near the windows. The clue to our answer is, "Why didn't we have problems the first time we primed but had problems the second time we primed when the same products were being used each time." Now that we know the cause and will run the a/c or heater to dry any area prior to painting ever again, BUT what's the best way to handle what we have now? - Sanding, patching, repriming the bubbled areas...is it going to peel in adjacent areas? - If it didn't bubble, is it ok to paint the final coat of Benj Moore Regal Eggshell? Or do we need to Kilz now to try to prevent the whole wall from peeling off? Any insight is REALLY, REALLY appreciated. He worked a long time on that large entry way with 15' ceilings and are just sick over it. Thank you.

I am so glad I don't have this problem. But one of my DD's playmates is this way - not on purpose - she just has a different time clock than the rest of her family. They have early schedules - have to head to work at 4 am, so they need to go to bed early. But she simply can't sleep that early - even WORSE if she took a nap during the day. She usually goes to sleep at midnight. So to keep the sanity, they do something they would not do if it weren't for her obviously different body clock. They let her go watch TV in her room - usually Barney - while they go to sleep. She stays up til 12 then turns off the TV and goes to sleep. They have a family member on a later schedule take her to school in the a.m. They spent months trying everything, figuring she was just a procrastinator. And once they figured out she just has a different cycle, they tried to reset her clock to something more in line with a 9 pm bedtime to no avail. And now they are all happy. Other than bedtime, she actually does not watch a lot of TV.

Morz i am 36. I did have a good time. I did not get nearly as annoyed as I normally do, as the food was all made ahead and just had to be reheated,except for some Buffalo chicken dip egg rolls that I made last minute. I was given all the compliments and accolades I deserve. Then I came home and made chicken quesadillas and rice for SO. Now I am watching Two Fat Ladies with my feet up. I am worn out but I have had a lot of other things going on this week besides the cooking marathon that I had to do. Nothing excessive. I had to take a stray orange tabby tomcat to the vet to have him fixed. He has decided he lives here now. Which is fine. Outdoor cats are always useful out here in the sticks. I named him George. George, the Duke of Orange. He is a cuddle bug which is somewhat an issue because I am allergic. So me and Allegra have been best friends lately. I had to go all over creation to try to buy a new fridge because mine is giving me attitude and NO ONE can deliver one before the turn of the next century it seems. I finally got one ordered and coming in a week. Seriously, why does it take a miracle to get an appliance lately? There is a dead creature, I suspect a mouse in the wall in my master bathroom which is making me hate my whole life. And I have lots of overtime coming up. So a party was a welcome distraction,even if I did do all the work. A success!
