Sorry, but what is this about?

Truthfully, spraying birds always enhances their plumage...with just cool water...but, as Eleanor tested the VF-11 on hundreds of birds..she said many of the birds were nearly bald...losing feathers...which is either due to a pest, a nutritional deficiency or being plucked by other more aggressive birds...and all the bald ones regrew their feathers...within a couple of weeks. I, in all honesty, believe that this happened because, when wet, birds will "preen" their feathers...and when preening their feathers, they get the ingredients of VF-11 in their system...and this helps to compensate for nutritional inadequacies. So, I don't think it'd help Denise's hair, unless she was to spray her hands with VF-11 and lick the moisture off...or, more easily, drink a mixture of water and VF-11...it surely wouldn't harm anyone...and quite likely would cause some improvements. Birds LOVE to be sprayed...they're very meticulous about their feathers...so, I sprayed mine today...they love being sprayed...then they spent 30 minutes preening their feathers...so, the VF-11 got into their system. None of my parrots are bald, so I don't expect to see any dramatic improvements...but, I do believe they'll perk up just because they love the attention they're receiving!! The birds that Eleanor tested were, obviously, deficient in certain nutrients...VF-11 wouldn't stop other birds from plucking them, nor would VF-11 rid the birds' feathers of pests, i.e., mites. Eleanor believes that indoor pets miss out on a lot of necessary nutrition due to being indoors....she stated the importance of animals and birds of being exposed to "dew". I always assumed that dew was just water...but, Eleanor believes it contains nutrients. So, I learned something new!! To make this more of a "hoya" subject...don't forget to spray your hoyas once you've finished spraying your birds!! LOL Fondly, Patrick

1) Will upsetting the robins occasionally (hanging up laundry 2-3x/day) cause them to abandon the nest? Yes. And if the eggs hatch, you can scare the nestlings out of the nest prematurely. 2) Are there certain times of day that they tend to not be in the nest so I can work around those times? No. 3) Do we need to just avoid the deck area until they hatch and leave the nest? If so, how long is that? The eggs hatch after about 15 days and then the young leave the nest 18-20 days later. We usually hang up all our laundry outside so this is a pain but we do not want to upset the birds. Our 4 children will love to see the eggs hatch. : ) It will be worth the sacrifice. Keep a distance, listen to the chicks' begging cries and watch the parents go to and from feeding them.
