Bluebirds covering up eggs

Hello, I am new @ bluebirding, so I have alot of questions. I went to check my box yesterday and thought the 3 eggs that had been in it were gone. I checked closer and found them buried under the nest material. Later I noticed the female bringing nesting material back to the box like she was trying to cover the eggs back up. I am expecting the eggs to hatch sometime in the next few days (the last one was layed Sat 7-4-09). Does anyone have any ideas of what might be going on?
