Luckily, not many of them will be left when JS will put them on sale :-) I also have too many for my small garden. I do not think it will stop me though... I bought amazingly nice bulbs at a fantastic price at Costco this year. Many nice varieties including some Orienpets. I just know that I will not be able to resist next year if they will have something new...

Hi magpie, you could always fool around with some crafty stuff too. This is a $1 garage sale buy; it had an ugly picture print and a nasty brown frame. About eighteen years ago on a whim I poured a few shades of double pigment paint on Cling Wrap and zapped in an old microwave in the garage. After priming the picture I poured some metallic paints on and blended. I then glued on the Cling Wrap and stitched everything in with stitch craft paint. I wasn't actually expecting much out of the junk but I ended up liking it. The picture now lives in the game room; it took no time, money and little experience to make. Although this would not be exactly right for your space I hope I have inspired you to try and mock a few canvases like those cool panels in your inspiration picture. http://s1004.photobucket.com/albums/af170/jterrilynn/?action=view&current=picture017.jpg" target="_blank"> http://s1004.photobucket.com/albums/af170/jterrilynn/?action=view&current=picture015.jpg" target="_blank">

I just tried to take pictures, but, while I have granite, I do not have lights! Just as I walked into the kitchen, the sky turned pitch black and it started pouring. Not enough light to get a good picture. Darn. Poor DH. By the time he gets home, he probably won't be able to see the granite at all. I'm not usually home during the day, but I had to take a class this morning, so I decided to work at home this afternoon. Haven't gotten much work done. I've been staring at my granite all afternoon!

In general, the more humidity, the more sun a plant can take. Of course some plants naturally want more shade and some more sun. Full sun in say, Phoenix, AZ is way way more intense than the full sun in Florida. Full sun in some places in Wyoming that have a high altitude and also get into the 90's in the summer and are windy & dry, are also more intense (sun-wise) than it is here. I know I sunburned as fast in that situation as I did in AZ and so did my plants lol. I have lived in 14 states. Every place is different. Even within a specific city there can be micro climates that make a difference. Here in Jacksonville the weather is very similar to S. Louisiana but the soil is way different. It is all a learning experience.
