Your female has probably took to it okay.

This year, sometimes when I was around the female would get nervous and not go in.

If you continue to see her then things are okay. I just installed one today at a family's trail and the female accepted in less than 10 minutes!

If you saw her go in ,then I would saw things are looking good,If she went in once there should be no problems with her accepting the spooker.If she has stopped laying eggs at 4 ,then she is now incubating.They will usually start incubating the day the last egg was laid. Keep in mind she will leave the box for short times here and there during incubation,so don't be alarmed.

If the Bluebird went into the nestbox she wasn't scared away from the spooker. Most will not give up an active nest because a spooker was added. However if your box is mounted on a fence it will easily be accessible to racoons, cats and squirrels. Raccoons love nestboxes mounted on posts, trees and fences as it makes quite an easy meal for them. Nestboxes should be mounted on a slick metal poles like electrical conduit. The only way to prevent a raid from an animal is to move the box to a pole with a predator guard at least 15 feet away from the fence. Good luck.

Is it possible to move the nest box to a pole now? I actively and successfully trap any and all raccoons and other pests that come into our yard. I will research and take appropriate precautions to protect the nest. Oh and bot Mom and Dad have accepted the spooker and are actively in and out of the box.

Yes, Lornas, even though you trap the raccoons, other animals are also of concern including snakes. It would be a good idea to move the box now and it can be done if you're careful. All of my nestboxes are mounted on 3/4" electrical conduit with stovepipe baffles to protect from climbing predators. The pole should be located at least 10' away from fences, trees, etc., to prevent animals from jumping to the nestbox.
I would remove the nest, carefully, from the nestbox and place it in a shoebox. Cover it with a lid and set it aside until the move is complete. Then remove the nestbox from the fence and mount it to the newly located pole (I have Home Depot or Lowe's cut the conduit at a 7' length and then I pound at least 12" of the pole into the ground). Once the nestbox is mounted, carefully replace the nest and then watch the box from a distance to be certain the parents accept the change.
Many of us have learned the hard way that mounting nestboxes to fences and trees may work for a time but eventually the predators catch on. Once a box has been raided, the predator knows where to find an easy meal. It's bad enough to lose eggs or hatchlings to a predator, but a box mounted on fences and trees also puts the breeding pair of birds at risk.
