A Lesson in Silence - And Behavior..

I learned something very important yesterday when the weather was so bad and I was feeding the bbs every 2 hours.

Silence is important.

Dad would get worms then fly to the nestbox. When Mom wasn't there he'd fly to a limb, look and wait. Still no Mom. So it was off to another limb. No Mom and I'm getting worried. I could see him looking, and also listening. Total quiet. And there she came.

I'm not quite sure this is the same "angie" as last year but it's the same Brad. He's such a goof. He always manages to drop at least one of the worms he takes to her. Once he does that she just starts picking them up herself right after giving him a look that I'm familiar with - I'll do it myself!!!!

LOL. But when he does feed her he's such a loving guy. And he'll chase a Robin three times his size if it gets anywhere near his space.

Is it any wonder I've fallen in love with these small wonders? Animals are truly miracles.
