They are Cardinal babies... Looks like you had some nesting too!

Now that you mention it - we have a set of cardinals - have been seeing the male for several weeks but just saw the female last week for the 1st time! I noticed the male when I heard an unfamiliar tune from the roof and there he sat - been watching him since. I wish I new where there nest was - I have to google some images to see what the adolecents look like. Thanks so much!

Before I had to have it removed (couldn't get in the front door), my giant Mermaid rose was host to a cardinal family one summer, & I enjoyed them very much.

My absolute pleasure! Every time I see this thread, I look at the picture and those cute little babies! I hope they keep nesting here as I understand that cardinals are monogamous - I hope they like routine!
