More catch up of named ones
Comments (10)Kay and Chris--Michael Miller is a consistently gorgeous flower with a good bud count, but for me the increase has been incredibly slow. It took 4 years to add one fan. I probably should try moving it. Isle of Patmos has been a fabulous plant. Julia, mine is still blooming too and yes it did cool off. Didn't get out of the 60s today. I loved it and were supposed to get rain. It's raining in Boston right now, but so far no more than a few drops here. Mantis--I agree that Floyd Boatwright has some very nice daylilies. Carolina Orange Glow and Mari Penn are both very good plants. My very favorite at the moment is Love on a Wire. Val...See MoreNEW: Incredible Heirlooms Totally Tomatoes January Sign Up

Comments (16)I ended up with a cherry fort - not a maze. The signif other decided to downsize the whole deal... so I ended up with a 10 X 10 area. We were starting with lawn... So I planted a tomato every 6-8 inches. I know inches... I put in: Gajo De Melon Suncherry red star sungold green doctors zebra cherry black cherry snow white Riesentraube OSU Blue Oh heavens, I'll have to go home and check again... there were others... I got a lot of people who wanted to donate seed, so I took them up on them and added them to the 'fort'. I have to take recent pictures, but this is what it looked like early on. I haven't been gung-ho on documenting this because I didn't want to document a complete failure if it happened... :) Then I went back to the original farm (without my camera) this weekend and they have extended their tomato maze - lots more varieties and much bigger this year... I will bring the camera next time I go. Again they told the kids "come back with your basket and belly full." SO cute and SO gets them excited about gardening. I want that!!! I'll take pictures tonight and post them tonight or tomorrow....See MoreMake Up Favorites
Comments (54)Erica - yes, I used Mont Krest for granite and Marla Davidson Tile for the Encore. I needed about 20 sf and paid about $150 to have it shipped to my home. I can tell you that the packing and shipping were perfection and not one tile was damaged in any way. It is really pretty tile, and while I could have been perfectly happy with a a subway tile for half the price, there is something so lovely in the shading of this tile that I have no regrets about this little extravagance! Good luck and let me know if you need any additional info - I think you can message me through my Houzz profile....See Moretrudi_d
