What Lilies, Texas Gulf Coast ?

Hi Gang,

(I posted this on the Lily Forum, I guess it is a little sleepy there so I'm hoping the Texas Forum has the info I'm after).

I grow a few lilies:

1. L. longiflorum,

2. L. formosum,

3. an old fasioned organge tiger lily, and;

4: an unknown terra cotta-colored hybrid lily.

All other lilies have failed here, either not blooming or just "going away." I'm in the greather Houston, TX area (Conroe) near the Gulf Coast. Winter lows are about 23 F to 25 F, with only a half dozen nights below 28 F.

Please recommend other lilies to try? The ones that do well do very well, and they are so easy about it. There must be more out there for zone 9b and humid climates. Red, pink, purple, or yellow colors would be nice to add.

Cordially,

Joe
