Thumbtacks... I use Weather Underground, though their new and 'improved' smartphone app is really starting to get on my nerves (lots of hang-ups, time outs and no quick reference for forecasted Lows. Weather Underground tends to be close, but there are still times when the margin of error seems a bit wide. I use it for getting a general idea and then figue in +/- 8F. Still, it only forecasts about two weeks in advance and anything beyond tomorrow is likely to change on an hourly basis. AccuWeather has a long-range forecast for checking a month ahead, but it is mostly based on averages of previous years, so not very reliable.

I have used imageshack for many years and still use it today, I have other accounts including photobucket but don't care for them much. I of course understand the reason why we like to have a place for online storage, including the ability to easily add multiple images to a post on the forum, rather than the one at a time method used at GW from photos stored on the pc. I have multiple backup sources of course also but it is a great convenience in many situations, for sharing here and other ways. In general when I want prints I take my memory card to a location that has the photo printing from the memory card which is pretty much everywhere these days. It may be that Imageshack has that option included. Imageshack is free and easy but they do offer a pay version with more options. Check it out. Here is a link that might be useful: Imageshack

In the past when RPS updated their website (it is now nicer but much slower to browse) my account was deleted with all my past orders. They did not move any past orders or any customer accounts to their new site. The seeds that take about 2 months to arrive since they wait a month to charge a card and then another month to deliver arrive continuously partly or mostly not viable, shattered or they germinate in very low percentage such as 3% or none. I did have some very limited success with RPS seeds in the past, but a lot of misidentifying is going on, even now I realized the couple of palms that germinated from the batch are different species than I purchased. Take your chances. If you have no other source for specific seeds, take a chance and good luck. I am now ordering seeds, germinated seedlings and palms directly from suppliers even that I am just a collector and even if it is harder to achieve that.

They changed their policies two years ago in June, 2017. nicole, that's what I did to get my photos back. It was time consuming but it worked. Photobucket really did not handle that change well. They gave their customers very short notice, held their photos hostage and initially were going to charge $60 - $400 per year (depending on how much space each user was using). In response to the uproar...*ahem*, I mean, all of the negative feedback from their customers, a year ago they reduced their pricing to $53.90 to $129 per year depending on the size of account one wants. They also offer a free account with a storage limit of 250 photos/2.5GB I get that they are a business and they want to make money, but that was not the way to spring it on people. I no longer trust other hosting sites not to turn around and do the same thing, so I just keep my photos on a flash drive which has been backed up as well. If I want to share with family/friends I post to Instagram.
