Zone 7 covers a lot of area. I can recommend Stuart Nursery and Weatherford Gardens in Weatherford and Guerin Nursery in Acton. They all carry a wide selection and Guerin especially has hard to find plants. The Plant Shed in Wheatland has great prices on flats of annuals.

I get such mixed messages about what zone I am in, I generally think I am zone 8 but go to any website and type in my zip code and I get zone 7?? What::!:!:!:!:! Not sure where you live, but in the grapevine area,(also northeast ) try Green Mama's(very fun!), Plant Shed, Blooming Colors. Good Luck!

We live in the Mid-Cities area (Hurst, Euless, Bedford) and we enjoy Calloway's Nursery (http://www.calloways.com). They have locations all over North Texas (Addison, Plano, Flower Mound, Dallas, Fort Worth, Hurst, etc). According to their website, they go by Cornelius Nurseries in the Houston area.

If you've got a day to piddle at nurseries, I'd recommend going to Weston Gardens in Bloom (south of I-20 just west of 820) and look at the demonstration garden that they have across the street from the store.

And, since you're in the neighborhood, check out Redenta's Garden in Arlington.

Metro Maples for maple trees. Located in Ft Worth near 287 and 820. Petal Pushers in Cedar Hill. Westons Garden and Redenta's are good.
