I finally got around to putting together some photo's

of my garden of this year. I thought I would share them

with You all ! Please feel free to go to my Member Page

click on Home Page. I am a Amatuer Gardener ! I'm not sure

of half of what I do and yet I continue on ! Learning as I go. In my Garden I know I'm alright !

Gorgeous roses, Melody! Cool pinks are my favorite color in roses, closely followed by mauves and purples. St. Cecilia is gorgeous, I had no idea how pretty that rose is. Your Mr. Fairchild is equally beautiful. Mine is short and skinny and I wonder if it likes your climate better, although I'm inspired to try to make mine look a little more like yours. I'm so glad to see a garden other than my own here. If these are all young roses then I'm really impressed. Ingrid

Wow Vanessa you are good!!!! #1,2,4 are correct. You narrowed down #5 to two and English Sunrise is it. #6, 7, 8, & 9 are correct - Why did you pick Minuteman over Patriot? #10 I'm not sure about. I had thought it was Inniswood but after looking at those on the Forum I figured I had it wrong. It could be one of the two you suggested. I'll post a couple of pictures from later in the season last year and tell me what you think.

Karen - that is the one branch on that 'Texas Everbearing' fig bush that made it through the winter. I think I have 4 Texas Everbearing and each of them died back to the crown except for one lonely branch. Most of the survivors are loaded but this one is exceptional. Now I have to figure out a way to keep the fruit flies out of them. Last year every time a fig started to ripen it would get loaded with fruit flies and turn to mush. As you would try and pick it there would be a tiny tornado of flies exiting the hole at the bottom - yuck. I have 8 fig trees and I think I only got to eat 4 figs last year. This mean war!

Looks great. IF I had the room? I like those mixed plantings of Bougs. Right now,I get by on a potted Boug. My old in ground one I had to remove...too much shade had reduced blooms ( ash tree got tall) and those thorns were wicked near stairs.

Thank's everybody for enjoying
viewing my photos today. Jolana look up ( Garden Crossings ) They have a variety of Rose Mallows I think
even Blue River. As for Peonies if I have learn one thing
Dig the hole then let it settle for a while then plant the peony very close to the surface. And go with early variety's. and chose single ones. I do have one called ( Coral & Gold ) it held up very well ! even with the rains
we had this year. I was told to chose early/mid variety's
is because after that it gets to hot for them. I will keep

You put me to shame. All I can say is WOW WEEE PRETTY
I could see sitting there in the early morning or late eveing enjoying coffee or tea.
I really like Batik iris it's a knock out.

Now can you come over and help me out pretty please LOL. I sure wish I could get some thing's done that I want done but it maybe a while POO.

Thank's You all ! Barb, It's been a few years in the making to get it to that point. As You all know It takes so much patience! My Peonies are just barely taking off !
I told myself what was I thinking but to late I planted many. I hear You are known as the Red Daylily Lady ! cool !
We know the Maryotts very well! Can't wait to see you're daylilies next summer !
( PJ, I can just about guess my Garden to be it's best around the last 2 weeks of April I was told to really
pay attention as our gardens change I started doing that
and it has made a difference. I am just starting to map out my Garden so I can remember what I planted. My husband back in the late spring wanted to go out their with a pitch
fork to loosen up the dirt! I said You can't do that!
at least without me being present !! Just wanted to share that today. Olga,

Olga - Your yard is just beautiful! I remember when I went over to your house, you were still working on some of the areas. It looks like things have come along very nicely. Did you find a place for all those plants you got at the Allen Plant Swap?
