a few chilly spring morning photos from my garden
Comments (3)Very pretty. Thanks for sharing. Now you must post more pictures when all the hostas are up. I'm starting to plant a few hostas and I just love them. Your sedum is very unusual....See MoreSharing a few garden photos
Comments (7)Just HTML coding. :-) Like this, only remove the asterisks (*). I only insert them here so the coding will show rather than trying to convert itself to a link: Name of Link Or, for including photos in your post (again, remove the asterisk): Just replace the URL with the actual image path, which you can access by right clicking on the photo and checking "properties." Optionally, there is a field below the message form where you can just type in a link URL and the name of the link, and it will post a link below your message for you. :-)...See MoreOT A few photos of my garden
Comments (28)Josh, I really need to get a native spicebush! Wildflower, thank you. Is there a variegated avocado? I saw some baby avocados on the tree, just under pea-size right now. jyg, aren't Santa Rosa plums delicious? My tree also gives a lot, but last year, kids and their parents thought it was o.k. to sneak into my yard and take them! This year, I ordered a sensor water sprayer, LOL! Kristy, which large plant are you referring to as a vine or tree? My waterlily is planted in a terra cota pot with this small gravel-like stuff used to plant water plants (I'll look at the bag and tell you the exact name), then sunk into the pond (whiskey barrel). I know you can also plant in garden soil and then put some gravel on top to keep that stuff from floating out, then sink in the pond slowly. Jim, thank you so much for your compliment! It's great having this size lot to garden on. It's big enough to have plants I want, yet small enough where I can manage it. Now if only I could move the lot and my home to another area. I live by a school and those kids and their parents are messy to say the least!...See MoreA few dl photos, a few other photos.....(Pix)
Comments (15)LOL Jean...the "worm" will be a beautiful butterfly before long. Glad you enjoyed my photos. Thanks Connietn, I'm really enjoying my butterfly garden too, and am so glad the butterflies approve of it as well. :) Hi Renee, I've raised baby birds before too...been a while though. Tiny seems to be doing well, trying to fly a bit. Hopefully I will be able to release it back to the wild in a few weeks. Chris, Sherry Candy wowed me with it's FFO too. I sure do like it a lot. No, that isn't the seedling you remember. It was a Cherry Chapeau x unknown as I recall. I think this is it. As for the cat pics, I can thank my camera's super macro capability for those shots. :) Yep, little Tiny is a show stealer alright, and a loud mouth too. LOL Thanks lala...and nope that's not the way I feed Tiny. I mix canned dogfood with just a little water. Hopefully he'll begin eating seed before much longer. I think we've identified him/her as a Chipping Sparrow. Cindy...glad you like my butterfly garden..it sure is a lot of fun. Baby birds can be a hoot, can't they? I hope Tiny continues to do well and I can release him before too much longer. Andrea...thanks, I appreciate your comments. Happy Gardening all, Jan...See MoreLilyfinch z9a Murrieta Ca
