My Daughter needs your prayers, please

As some of you know, my daughter and her DH have been trying for years to have children. She became pregnant recently but it was an ectopic pregnancy. She was given medicine that was supposed to *take care* of well, you know. She began getting really sick and kept going to the doctor and they kept giving her more meds.

To make a long story short she had to have emergency surgery a couple of days ago and lost her tubes because of an infection and hemorraging and could very well have to have more surgery and lose more.

I know in the grand scheme of things she's fortunate, she doesn't have a life threatening disease... but she and her DH are totally heartbroken.

The Dr said invitro is the only answer now, IF all else goes well.

So please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

Oh, Jolana, I can't tell you how sorry I am to hear this has happened to your daughter. Life really throws us curves sometimes, doesn't it? I will say a daily prayer for all of you as I know how this hurts you as well. Stay strong and God bless.

ilmbg, So sorry about your dd and her dog. I'm relieved she is out of surgery and mending though. Easily I am thankful she didn't meet the same fate as her beloved dog. Postitive thoughts that she'll be walking soon. Medicine has sure come a long way. When my nephew broke BOTH femurs (large bone in thigh) a couple months ago, had rods and pins put in through his knees, the nurses had him walking the halls within a few days. He had plenty of pain but he is walking stairs and working again. We are very thankful for that. I hope your dd will be walking very soon.

De Spike and Ginger are too cute!! Spike is just adorable she looks like such a big dog in the first pic lol. Here are some pics of Maggie she loves to lay on anything clean- does Spike? She loves her plastic foot LOL This is Jorgie Thanks for everyones prayers :-) I wanted to say that Maggie had to go back to the dr's today and have her splint redone. Thanks everyone. I was hit with this out of the blue. I had no idea. We only live about 15 miles from each other, but we don't see, or talk to each other, often. Usually when DB calls, he wants something. I am sure it was hard for him to call and tell me. I know he is hurting for her. They are strong in faith, and I know that will help. I also don't know how many others in the family have been told. IE, my parents, or my other DB, so I don't want to say anything in case they don't know. I will be telling my 2 kids, tho. About 25 years ago my cousin had a tubal pregnancy that at about 3 months exploded. Her tubes were destroyed along with damage to her ovaries. The Doctors said it would be IMPOSSIBLE for her to conceive. A few years later she was PG and had their healthy daughter and a little over a year later she was PG again with their son. This was all natural.
My oldest daughter had ovarian cancer as a teenager and was told she wouldn't ever concieve because she could not produce healthy eggs. When she was 32 and considering divorcing her cronically unemployed husband she became PG and we now have Brett who is our "miracle child". Her husband even cleaned up his act somewhat and has a job.

Physically, I've heard the pain of an ectopic is bad too.

Jolana, I'm so sorry your baby is having to endure such pain.
Thanksgivings they were able to save her and she will recover.
I will pray for strength and peace for all of you and a put in a special request for a healthy little miracle.

Jolana, add my prayers along with others. I was able to have my beautiful daughter after 6 years of infertility treatments, so I personally know there is hope!

I've said it many times before, I really love the people on this forum
She's much better now, her spirits have lifted and she was picking on me before I came home...so all is much better.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your daughter, Jolana.

I know what you are going through in this, and how helpless you can feel at times. My DD was 15 when they told us that she would never be able to have children. And that was what she wanted most in the world.

Then one day, she came to my gate, yelling at the top of her lungs, "Mama, I'm pregnant!" I could not believe it then, and I thank God every day for the miracle.

I am going to pray for a miracle for you too. And for your daughter.
