I was asked to do a Christmas Tree with roses as the ornaments, so here is my attempt.--Ron

Oh Ron, very, very Christmasy! Beautiful rose Christmas ornaments! The white tree is perfect foil for the ornaments. Maybe you've just created something, I've painted roses on alot of things when I had a craft booth, called it Roses 'N Things, but I never did roses on Christmas ornaments:) I think I'm going to Michael's tomorrow! I've saved fruit many times from temps as low as 25/26/27 by going out in the very early morning hours between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM and spraying them down with water. It does help. A couple of things -- 1) bring the hoses inside somewhere they can't freeze. Even a little water will leave an ice plug in the hose, which is frustrating and problematic at 4:00 in the morning. 2) Be sure to wear heavy, waterproof gloves with insulated gloves inside. Your hands will get cold fast, especially when wet. 3) Always get dressed. Don't go out in your pajamas and an overcoat like I did, then hide behind the compost pile for 20 minutes while the cops shine your yard looking for burglars because some neighbor called the police about the strange goings-on in your yard at 4:00 in the morning! :=)

Thanks for the wonderful Xmas gift from Dave (pic) on these long cold snow covered winter days we long to see our blue friends. I can only hope they are holding up in a nice warm pine tree or cedar tree. My true xmas gift is when open nest box's and find four to five little chicks looking up at me. No other feeling in the world could compare. With no children of my own my birds fill a nice void for a person full of compassion. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone. Ray

Betty, I LOVE the pink tablecloth in your tea setting. If you hadn't told us, I wouldn't have known it was plastic. It is such a pretty colour and goes so well with your beautiful dishes. What I find particularly appealing (besides sweet Hanna and the yummy food!) are the candlestick holders you used...I love candles of all sorts and those are great. Are they crystal? Karen, You always amaze me with your talent!! So Wish you could get back in the full spirit of things again. Such great talent and not being used... :( I wonder if anyone has an objection to me using any of these ideas in my Attic? I do not wish to use them without permission.... Great tree! The ornaments are really cool. I had pictured upside down roses hanging as the ornaments, yours are even more ornamental.

How about rows of single roses (like Darlows Enigma or VCB or Gourmet Popcorn...) for the long streams of popcorn that were wound around the tree? We used to string yards of those in elementary school. :-)
