Beautiful,Kathy.The roses and the photos are just gorgeous.LOve Mariyln,shes always a beauty.I like Tropical Sunset, too,and of course Maggie. My poor Maggie just has bare canes on her,deer ate all the leaves off and buds and the blooms.Poor bush looks more dead then alive.

Jean, how does your Maggie grow when it is left alone? Mine is still in a pot and has long very skinny canes with flowers at the ends. I almost think it could be a small climber here. I love the color but Maggie hates the heat.

Kathy, please tell me about Sharon's Delight. Someone else said it was a good one. On your Trumpeter picture, the right bloom almost looks like a painting. Tropical Sunset is gorgeous. I may try Just Joey again. Your roses look mahvelus dahling.

Carla, I got Sharon's Delight from the old Uncommon Rose. It is always in bloom, about 2 1/2 feet tall and wide, maybe somewhat wider. It isn't affected by thrips, always looks nice. Not terribly long lasting in heat but there are always new blooms coming. Blooms about 2 inches I think.

Kathy,My Maggie don't get a chance to grow big.It would make a very huge bush if it would be left alone.The begining of spring it got to about 5 ft wide,not very tall,maybe 3 ft,and was a nice bushy looking bush,and had more canes popping out on it and loaded with gorgeous bloom,but it came a storm and washed the spray off it I had sprayed it with,and the deer hit it before I could spray it again,and when they finished with it,was not a leave on it,no blooms or a bud.They seem to like this one best,Guess maybe because of the strong fragrance it has.Mine dont like heat either,as when it get hot and humid any roses on it is bad droopy and wilted bad.Right now,it has a lot of dead canes on it.The canes are very thick and sturdy,like the 4th of July canes.Hope I answered your questions :)

Love your Marilyn Monroe. Mine is still a little own-root, struggling to put on some growth. But I grew it years ago as a grafted plant in a pot and I remember how spectacular the flushes were. -Paul
