Howdee,

Due to the post response limit of 150 I felt I should start another post for this swap. We have 45 people signed up so far. With the send in date just a week away there should be a little time for you to get me your mailer if you want to join.

THE RULES

All seeds must produce edibles. (veggie, herbs and fruit found in an edible garden)

All seeds must be clearly marked and packed correctly.

All seed packages should contain enough seed to try out that particular edible.

You will receive at least the amount of packages you send in most likely more..

You must send a wish list if your except to receive certain seeds back.

You must attach the correct amount of postage to the self addressed stamped bubble mailer or address labels and stamps to get the mailer back to you.

You must send your full name on the mailer , mailing address, garden web name and email address on a card or added to your lists. This helps me a lot. Emailing it too me works as well

A list of seeds you sent is recommenced. This helps so you dont get your own seeds back..

One person must not send in more than 5 copies of one certain seed.

One person must not send in more than 50 seed packages.

all mailers are due at my house by January 31th. Packages will be filled in order of arrival.

All mailers will leave my house headed back to you by February 14th

Sorry for all the rules it just makes a better and more organized swap and a lot easier if rules are involved. With only my self doing the swap as much information I can get is the best.

Howdee there Awesome time off with the hubby. We had a lovely well deserved vacation on the coast. My mom has a house in Crescent city and she is always wanted me to come and use it but hubby and I just love Gold beach. I am so happy all the mailers are getting back home and with such speed. I only host these two swaps and they are more fun each year. With this being the 10th year for the Acres Edible swap I really wanted it to be out standing. In past years there has been trivia and awards and such fun. Perhaps next year :) Now its off to sort seeds from my seed orders for my garden season. I will start my tomatoes and peppers, eggplant etc. next month. I grow about 200 extra plants each year and sell them locally. With the 100 assorted plants I start each year for my self for my garden it sure becomes a jungle in the green house. Happy gardening Acres

Wow what a busy weekend. Got a few more mailers and a few more sign ups and I started my other two swaps. One is almost full. I gave both of them a max of 25 people each. Any who the seeds that are coming in for this swap are looking great and they people sending those seeds in are doing a great job packaging and organizing. I am very extremely glad of that. We should be right on schedule for this swap. I will not extend the date of this swap for anyone so please if you have not sent your mailer in please get you bumm in gear and get your mailer off to me. THE DEADLINE IS JANUARY 31ST only a short few days away.

Rosieo --- Email me so I can get you the info on the swap. Also change so garden web members can email you. This makes it soo much easier.

PLEASE NOTE-----I recieved a mailer with 32 pks from a Jonathan from Rome, Ga no idea who you are. You did not list Garden web name or email anywhere. Let me know who you are please.

Mine should arrive the 29th, 30th at the latest.. I sent it priority mail. HOWEVER, I realized today that I forgot to put the return postage in the envy w/ everything else. SOOOO that is in the mail to you as of today! :P Sorry!

no mailers today I was dissapointed. LOL I should be relieved no work today. No worry about the mailers being a few days late just send in as soon as you can. As posted in main post and swap email mailers will be packaged in order. Sort of a first come first serve thing.

Kamil, with friday being the day listed as last day I will most likly start packaging mailers monday and send out as soon as they are filled.

I did have a litter of lovely little bunnies this morning. So Im a mom of 8 itty bittys or maybe a grandma. But I cant be a gram Im only 37. LOL

Tracy, I had 3 friends become grandmas (to humans!) at 40!!!! It's a good thing I don't have (human) kids. So they can't make me a grandma at 40! The 4 legged kids are fixed.

Keep an eye on your little bunnies. They're cute until they mow down your peas, beans and even a few squashes! Then it's Elmer Fudd & Bugs Bunny time! LOL!

Yay Only 8 more people you have to recieve seeds from Tracy!(Not including you of course!) I hope your friend Jill will help you sort the seeds cause if everyone sends in 50 packs including you and Jill thats 2,350 packets of seed! Holy Cow! Good Luck!

Just checking in to see if my pacakge arrived yet. Don't see a post on new pkgs...and I'm kinda worried. I hope it didn't get sucked up by our postal delivery non-service.

Sassy...did you track yours? Looks like you sent yours about the same time...but I'm on the West Coast and it should have been there long before now. :o(

Growlikecrazy - got your mailer woo hoo we both worried for no reason.

For all you lovely gardeners in this Acres Edible swap the mailers will go out in the mail headed to your house by the end of the week. Most likely the middle of the week. I am the only one doing this swap and all the sorting and such so it takes me some time to do it. I will post an UPDATE post when the mailers are headed out back home.
