Some bloomers in my garden

I'm so excited about this Spring, it's the 2nd year for our new rose garden we put in last year and everything is loaded with buds and new blooms. Here are a few blooming right now...

Rio Samba, lived in a pot for a long time it is so much happier now. I love how the blooms are so different or change color as they age.

Thanks Caffiopeia - Snowfire is a Kordes rose, really beautiful. I love roses with reverse colours. Thanks Jen - Chris Marlow is a wonder, I just love how each flower is so different and the colour is never the same ... Tattooed Lady is a new mini I got from Uncommon this year - almost lost it in the Summer but it came back much to my relief. Carol, Thank you - went out and took more pictures of Invitation for you - it was so windy yesterday while I was trying to take pictures that I could not get too many good ones. Charlotte is just a bloom machine for me, she always has a few blooms on her and I'm really enjoying Snowfire - it's new this year. Here in 7a, most nurseries have their largest stock by far, in Spring. Fall, although the best time to plant due to percentage of root growth (70%?) has been absolutely dead at all the local places. BTW...hope that Louisiana Super Plant, Leslie Ann, does well for ya Dave! I planted some of the October Magic series and, so far, October Magic Dawn is my favorite over Magic Inspiration. Below pic was taken last month.

Sherry - I doubt that I will have any rebloom on seedlings this time because they have been in so much shade. But you never know. Julia - I think the horrible heat has made Rouen Cathedral lighter in color. I'm happy to have some of its flowers this year though. It's also possible some fans may scape later. It seems to be a fast multiplier. Carol - Allegheny Skyline is always a striking one. Mantis - Insider Trading is just a little sparkling jewel.

Do you spray your roses for disease? I love Rainbow's End, but I don't spray and I wasn't sure how it would do.

The good news is that for the first 3 year a plant is getting established. Your roses will only show off more and more. If they are that nice now just wait.

Rio Samba is very nice! Must be just like having more than one rose on the plant. I have Rainbows End and I like it a lot. It's a short, compact bushy grower here, and very colourful. All of your photos are great. Thanks for the treat.

With those colors in your garden I bet it's a bright cheerful place:) Very beautiful roses you have. I like Bengal Tiger's colors especially.

Thanks all! We almost cut Peace down b/c it's gotten so big and was here when we bought the house. I really pruned it hard this year and it really has bloomed better this year so now I want to keep it. We did spray once this year b/c it appears we had an invation of thurps sp.? Rainbow's End has been one of my favorites for a long time and I finally purchased one, it's really a great little rose!

Your roses are just beautiful.I recently got Rainbows End Climber.No blooms as of yet.I may have to get the bush,too.I love Rio Samba.I lost mine this last fall and plan to get another one,as I like the way it keeps changing colors,too.I have Knockout too and love it.I have it in a huge pot.Thanks for sharing your beauties.

I love my Rio Sambas. I have two, a tree type, and a standard type. My tree type is established and beautiful. My regular Rio Samba was a bare root I planted in Jan., and she is blooming beautifully already
