Grafting Tomatoes onto Roorstocks For Nematode Resistance?

Okiedawn OK Zone 7

Jay or Gary or any other tomato experts who are reading this:

Since Jo has so much trouble with root knot nematodes in her soil, would it be worth her while to try grafting tomato plants onto a rootstock of a nematode-resistant variety?

If it worked, she'd be able to raise whichever heirloom tomato varieties she wanted by grafting them.

If it worked, she also could grow any hybrid if grafted to a resistant rootstock, instead of being limited to only those varieties that have nematode-resistance bred into them.

What do y'all think?

Dawn
