Drying Cherry Tomatoes

Dawn,I am finally getting around to drying some cherry tomatoes. Just got them in the oven and on low heat. I drizzled them with basil and olive oil. How long do you think it will take to dry them out and what kind of shape will they be in when they are finally "dry"? I am thinking they will be like a leather lump and kinda chewy. But hopefully it won't take forever. I have the oven on "warm". I don't use a dehydrator anymore after the other one went up in smoke and melted on the cabinet in a matter of seconds. I can't take that chance of leaving something like that going and sleeping or go to work. I cut up all different sizes of tomatoes and suppose some will finish before the larger ones. I mite have drizzled a little too much as I was using a ketchup bottle and I warmed the basil up in the olive oil and when I tryed to drizzled it, it got plugged up and finally squirted all over. LOL.
