It happened again!

Yesterday my husband and I planted several clumps of rudbeckia, thread-leaf coreopsis, gaillardia, and variegated sedum.

This morning they were all dug up. Nothing was eaten, not even roots as far as I could tell.

This time I thought I had taken adequate precautions. I sprayed with deer repellent and sprinkled Shotgun Repells All both in the planting hole and around each plant. The perpetrator wasn't repelled.

Now what? Established plantings are not affected, just new plantings. This is very frustrating!
