Something is eating away at my plants in my raised bed. I have looked for pests, but haven't seen any other than flies and ants. Slugs are generally a big problem here in the pacific northwest but I haven't seen many around just yet. I have anohter raised bed a few yards away from this one that is doing fine, with different plants however.

The celery was the first to go. Now they are attacking my basil which was doing fine. They also ate all of my radish seedlings.

The only amendments I have used are Liquid Fence (to keep away rabbits) and an aspirin water spray. Any idea what could be causing this or what I can do stop it. I would prefer not to use chemicals however I will try anything at this point. The eggshells around the plants are to deter slugs. I havent noticed any slug trails.

Ignore the white spots on plant, that is from mild soap i used in aspirin water. I put it on all my plants so that is not the culprit.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

John
