Hope your wishes come true, although the one about the grasses self-dividing themselves, well, wouldn't that be nice. Me, I'm just grateful for finding some 1 gallon Pink Muhly's at Home Depot. I wish they do well until Spring when I will divide them into six plugs. Then I wish they thrive where I plant them. And next Fall, I wish the flowering Pink Muhly's knock not a few people's sox off. This grass is a stunner, and I was stunned (but not so stunned that I didn't buy it) to find it at a Home Depot. Cheers. Happy Holidays all.

My husband was a job hopper. He hopped because he couldn't deal with the last little bit of hard work when you're learning a new job. He'd get fed up and leave. Which pis-ed me off royally. We have a small child who hated being uprooted. So it was a big deal for us. I would always say, sure, go. As long as you're happy. But he soon figured out, he wasn't happy. The "next" time he wanted to leave, I said, LOOK, you aint happy, and none of the other umpteen jobs made you happy, so what's the problem? He admitted to being frustrated. So we brainstromed and figured out the last hump. He's been promoted way up, gained bonuses, raises, vacation time, and self esteem. He's only been there a couple of years, but it's the longest he's held a job since we've been married, and happier at the thought of still being at his job. He's not going to leave now that he's on board. Is your hubby job hopping for something similar? Can you help him keep calm during the "next time"? Or is it just a symptom of what's really wrong?

I feel all your frustrations in finding the perfect fridge. I replaced mine last month, not planned, my 25 cu ft Amana SD, bottom mount freezer lost its compressor. For the second time. The compressor had failed in the refrigerator the day before we closed on this house 3 years ago, and the seller had the compressor replaced - offering us either the repair or a credit. I chose repair as the refer was just 6-7 yrs old, and after all, Amana was once the gold standard....maybe not now ;) The choices, while food was being held in the garage in a spare a divorcing friend is storing here (I've stopped complaining about the space his things are taking), weren't great. A small coastal community and my choices had dwindled to Sears, Home Depot. Learned there is no local service for LG, Samsung. An hour away, I found a 25 cu ft Kitchen Aid FD, bottom mount, water and ice inside with a warranty that beat all the others. In the uncrating and installation, I saw the wine rack was packaged as Amana, some of the door shelves packaged as Whirlpool. It's fine. It doesn't give me a thrill as I walk into my kitchen but the storage seems to be working out and while I load from the left, I'm not automatically reaching out and not finding a door handle as the first few days ;) I discovered when initially transferring my food, there is an alarm for an open door....

I have to bring everything through the house (terraced house). It creates a terrible mess every time. I end up treading mud all over. Portlandmysteryrose, I live in a thatched cottage and even though I'm sure it's not so nice as the one you are imagining, it's got lot's of problems. Insurance is through the roof(!), some people can't even get insured. And once we had a chimney fire where we didn't know if the house would catch fire, the fire brigade sent three engines! In those moments you nkow that if the house sets on fire the whole this is like a tinderbox and will be gone in a matter of minutes (3-5 minutes). Luckily we were fine. Also, the cost of replacing a thatch is upwards of 25,000!
