DE Applicator

I've been trying to figure out how I could apply diatomaceous earth to areas I want to and maintain some control over how much and where I apply it. I was looking for some kind of bottle I could squeeze that would fill back up with air as soon as I stopped squeezing.

I had some old bicycle water bottles, the kind that fit in the cages on bicycle frames. They have a top like some liquid detergent bottles and some other things that you pull the top up and liquid can flow out and when you're done you simply push the top down and the bottle is sealed.

If your bottles are dry and you put some DE in them you can use it as a squeeze bottle and air spray the DE where you want it, push the cap down and put the bottle on a shelf until needed again. I think this will work for applying any kind of powdered product like DE.

Well, it solved a problem for me. maybe it will generate a whole different idea for someone else.
