Drying mixed peppers for hot pepper powder?

Hello! I was wondering if anyone here dries several varieties of peppers and combines them in powder form as opposed to single variety powders? I tried this last autumn as I didn't have a ton of each pepper and thought it wouldn't make enough of any one pepper powder. I like single variety pepper powders but if one has a limited number of each variety it dosen't seem worth it to have small amounts of each sitting around. My family really liked the powder I ended up with so I guess it all worked out. I had these that I dried and combined:

Purple Cayenne (did have lots of these!)

Rain Forest

Chimayo

Chicken Heart ( a.k.a.Hinkelhatz)

My family loves to add this to chile which I am making for dinner tonight! On a side note - try making chile sometime with hot sausage instead of beef - YUM!

Anyway, just wondered if you think single variety pepper powders are the best or if it is sometimes nice to have a mixture of flavors. The mix I ended up with has a great flavor and that is just by chance as I didn't know what I'd end up with!
