i lost mine to the freeze this year i would like some cuttings i don't need them rooted i have a white/yellow that maybe survived, so some color would be nice email me thanks check my trade list or can work something out for postage i'm in zones 6 and 9

I'll go ahead and put my 2 cents in here. I've had amazing luck here in St. Pete and my plumerias receive direct summer sun and I have to admit, very rarely any fertilizer. Yes, the trick is to not overwater them. I have also heard that it's important that the cutting is at least a foot tall in length. You can then place "the stick" into the ground and nature should take care of the rest. I made the mistake of purchasing a rare variety, the name escapes me right now, from a nursery in Ca. $80 later, the "stick" hasn't grown an inch and I've been babying it to death. All my other plummies are trees right now, so it makes me wonder about dealing with smaller cuttings. My recommendation is to spend your $ at a local grower and forgo spending ALOT of $ after just visiting a website as I did. They will grow like weeds, just remember to get a good size cutting, locally if possible. Hope this will help. I LOVE my plummies! Sue.

nothing looks abnormal to me. Your plant is going dormant, hence the yellow leaves. The cracks happen with older plants and is just part of the process. You can fill them with cedar DAP tub and tile sealant or spackle. As plants mature they also get a grey color to harden for winter. Nothing I see in your pictures is of concern to me except I would keep an eye on the dark area about an inch down from the tip on the last picture. If it does not spread it should be ok. Bill

Darn it when things aren't as we'd like! But, it's not a stupid plant. It needs love, too. I would consider cutting it back. Could turn out to be your favorite plant ever. Now, time to head on over to some of the plumeria seller websites and pick out one you'd like to have. I may just do the same!
