Definitely will be a cookout. My succulents have been moved into dappled shade with temps over 100 forecasted. Wouldn't want any to "cook!"

Our DGS is leaving for his first time at camp today -- DS driving him and another boy. We had dinner with DS and family last evening. Very nice, with four fathers present. (Big difference between DS's generation of fathering and their elders' more hands-off roles. Certainly better all around now!)

I second this! Happy Father's Day to all you fathers and grandfathers and I hope you have a wonderful day and, best of all, get to spend some or all the day with at least some of your kids and grandkids, or at least get to hear from them if they live far away. Dawn

My father had a farmer's heart and loved to grow things. He planted and maintained a rose garden for my mother for over 40 years. He is the one who taught me about hybrid tead and I miss him very much! He died in 2007, and never saw me making mu rose garden. I feel his presence when I am working in my roses now, especially if I am doing something not the way he showed me. Happy Father's Day! I miss you! .
