I'll post some pictures on the conversation side in a day or so. I just got done moving some things around (LOL, just like I do my hostas!), so I don't have final pictures.

I haven't learned how to use the camera in video mode yet, but here's my first try.

Thanks guys! Before anyone asks, our electric bill only goes up about $20 a month. Most of the lights are LEDs and since they blink on and off to the music, they all are usually not on at once.

Ken, too funny, those lights are pretty bright. And, this song is pretty mild compared to the songs that blink to the music of Trans Siberian Orchresta! Thank goodness we don't have neighbors across the street.

As we have transitioned into LED lights, I have rewired old incandescent props withs LED lights. It's very time-consuming trying to figure out how to get 60 bulbs to fit where there was once 50.

Steve, I love the Stars of David. I have two more that will go up next year, but they need to be rewired with LEDs, so I'll have to wait until they come down so I can see how I put the new lights on.

Here's an example of an angel that I rewired. It originally had 150 lights on it. I stripped the lights off, wrapped gutter guard around it and wired 700 lights on it. This took me almost a month to complete, but it's one of my favorites:

Wow, the whole house is covered in NEAT STRAIGHT ROWS of lights, Gesila!! And I too love what you did with the Blue Angel. Maybe you could have a contest to see who finds the most hosta names hidden in your decor?

Gutter guard is an inspired thought. I think I saw some things done with a similar material, but had no idea what it was. Just looked like mesh to me.

Hehehehe, I have 12 lights, that's it. but I did buy a pair of lovely 2 foot tall live boxwoods shaped like pointy trees, and they will have some YEAR ROUND LEDs.

BTW, how long does it take you to remove and store these lights?

Moccasin, lol, didn't know where to find mesh, so I used gutter guard!

It takes about three weeks, 1 mile of extension cords and 200 hours of computer programming to get the light show together. We can take it apart in two days. Another two days to dry everything off and put them away.

We've built alot of things out of PVC pipe. For instance, the lights around the windows and door are frames made out of PVC pipe. Take down the screen, put up the lights, 5 minutes!

Now, those straight rows on the siding take about a day to put up. We get tons of compliments on them and everyone on the lighting forum wants to know how I get those lights to stay on the siding like that.

That is fantastic! Unfortunately, being married to Scroogie Boy limits my lights, but I love seeing yours (I do have colored LED lights on the deck and may just keep them up until spring-love seeing them out there).
