there are quite a few things limping along, or continuing (phloxes, rozanne, some reblooming daylilies, a few roses, coneflowers, annuals of course, etc).

but as for things really coming into their own just now: BOLTONIA! and garden mums, chelone, dahlias, colchicums!, obedient plant, plectranthus, caryopteris, and I have to mention the amazing morning glories. Also, the elephant ears, brugmansia, banana, and cannas just keep getting better & bigger. that's about it. i think i have more of a spring/summer garden.

Things are really winding down here. My asters (new last fall and this spring) did not seem to survive the heat we had this summer. I have about 3 little blooms, and that's on a new aster I got last week from Bluestone, lol!

I really think that's it. :( Some of my annuals are doing a bit better, in particular my portulaca and salvia Victoria. Still have some marigolds, cosmos, ageratum, snapdragons, geraniums and petunias going, but that's about it.

I do have a ... hmm, I want to say callicarpa?? Perhaps "Profusion"?? It has tiny purple berries that are just starting to color up. First year, and still in a pot, but I think I'm gonna like this one!

Not too much right now. Toad lilies and Autumn Joy sedum are looking pretty good - well, the Autumn Joy sedum looked much better before DN (Darling Newf)slept on it. I have a sidalcea Elsie Hughes I started from seed this year that has a few blooms, Anoda Opal Cup has been a pretty steady bloomer. My kosteletzkya virginica (Virginia Saltmarsh Mallow) is budding.

Mighty darn chilly here this a.m.! Things are definitely winding down.

Rose Victorian spice just a couple blooms left, smells wonderful though.
Sweet William (though this flush around it was looking pretty ragged, but cant complain , I had nearly 3 solid months of colour from them.)
Annuals such as impatiants (in fact with the wetter summer my impatients have never grown so far so fast, its a shame that the first real frost will kill them)
My Mums, though the variety i got this year whatever it was just doesnt look as good as in years past.
Thats about all I have left.
