Do you think that $17 for a Stars and Stripes is too much?
Comments (28)Cindeea, I am ready to order the Stars & Stripes. I just need another person to join, so I could order the package. So two so far have owners then. One more, and I am adding the package to the order. Good that there is this forum. One can order varieties that would not be available otherwise. I will try to find your e-mail address to try to set up the details with you if we find a third taker. elizabeth, That is indeed Jungle Star. That is what Hans says is the Papillio Improved. And if it is Improved then I have two Papillios and no Improved. Actually, I like it better than Papillio. It has more character. jodik, My credit card is charged, so I assume that the shipment is occuring soon. I can't wait to lay my hands on the new bulbs... Finally... I will update you when I have new details coming up....See MoreLittle bit nervous on this..what do you think?
Comments (38)Most definitely a scam. I'm a huge fan of CL and have always had great success with it - both buying and selling. People just need to be wise to the scammers and don't give them the time of day. Certainly, I've had my share of scammers, but they are so obvious, I delete them immediately. I had a local woman offer me $25 extra for my posted washer if she could have it over others I heard from before her. I took the offer, she picked up the washer, and it was a done deal. You just have to be savvy when dealing with CL people....See MoreWhat Do You Have Too Much Of, & Why Do You Have It?
Comments (89)So many people with issues with parents...sad. I was loved, I had toys and gifts, dresses, dolls, books, sport stuff, games,I lacked for nothing . But as I got older, I think I tried to "recapture" my childhood. As an adult, I loved antique shows, flea markets, garage sales. Any time I saw something we had in our house growing up, I had to buy it. I even bought too many rose bushes and planted them in my garden, trying to re-create my Grandma's rose garden. I now have a linen closet stacked with doilies and tablecloths I'll never use, sets of fancy glasses too fragile to use, things like that. Oh, and on the funny side, my daughter cleaned out my bathroom just yesterday. She found eleven bottles of Listerine. I don't know, I hate the stuff, it burns... I remember buying one bottle because it did everything, whitens teeth, freshens breath, makes gums healthy, strengthens the enamel. I'm just always looking for something to make me happy....See MoreDo you think our buyer is asking for way too much? Agents? Homeowners?
Comments (17)It really depends on how badly you want to sell the house and how much interest there has been in the house. If this is the only offer you have gotten and it's be on the market for some time, I think you would be wise to follow homechef59's advice. If it's a new listing in a hot market with lots of showings of your house, you might dig in your heels. But I've seen that really backfire on sellers - my hairdresser and his wife's house has still not sold after over 2 years on the market. It is a lovely house, but it has issues that he and his wife were blind to. It was also priced too high and when they have lowered it, it's been lowering by $25-50,000. For a nearly $1 million dollar house, that's just not enough. He now has it rented as his insurance company finally got wind that it was unoccupied and was going to cancel the insurance on it. Thank to your agent. That's what she's getting paid for - to give you advice in situations just like this one....See Morejosephines167 z5 ON Canada
