I am afraid I do not have a review for you but after checking out the web site I must say it leaves me with a very good first impression. I am however a little disappointed that such a new name has not given us more formulaic information. Over all I have noted their address and will consider making a purchase later this year. I too am very curious as to reviews from others.

The lack of product formulas, ie N-P-K values, is certainly a bad sign. The "right way" to use fertilizers is to determine what nutrients are needed and then add fertilizer that will increase whatever is lacking. Adding something that's unneeded is not just a waste of money; too much of a good thing can certainly damage plants - and the environment.

Comparing their page on greensand (a soil additive) to the page in Gardeners Supply's web page, GS has lots more information about the nutrients in the product, and a lot less sales jargon. The product is also a buck less at GS.

I guess I'll stick to fish emulsion, compost and the occasional dressing of manure; this "miracle" stuff may be good, but they're just asking us to take their word on it, they're not even telling us what it is they are salling.

I've gotten their literature in the mail several times, and I've also always wondered just what was in this stuff. I just felt like I needed more concrete info before buying - not that I ever tried to look for it, lol. I always just end up tossing out the literature.

I recently got their literature too and I was tempted for awhile by the "miracle" nature of it, but eventually I chucked it out. There's a lot of "hormone"y type things on the market these days making lots of claims.

However, having said that, a couple of years ago, I ordered some Liquid Fence online and they threw in a sample of something called "Speedy Grow" marketed as a "growth accelerator". Well, I tried it on a patch of annuals but I left one section untreated. I also refrained from my usual annual fertilizing (Miracle Gro) in that area. Much to my surprise, there was a BIG difference in the treated and untreated plants. So I bought a large bottle of it the next year and used it on all my annuals and anything I wanted to give a head start to.

However, now that I am writing this, I see I need a 3-way control -- Speedy grow, Miracle grow and nothing. Although I would rather use (natural) speedy grow than (synthetic) Miracle grow any day.

Wendyb, it would be a fair competition if the "nothing" section had a nice mulch of well-rotted compost. I've used miracle gro on annuals, in a pinch, but I wouldn't bother with it on anything that was going to stick around for longer than one "burst" of color.

all liquid fertilizer works same. no matter who make it, 50% of Nitrogin apply to foliage will be obsorbed within one to 12 hours depend on type of plants and soruce of nitrogen, P and k are take longer, 36 to 72 hours or longer. in the trade, we call it "spoon feed" offten few day befor golf tonament or sports field use to green up turf. In agriculture when crop show deficiency of micor nutrtion or nitrogen then use liquide fertilzer.

if you want to make your self, you can make your own liquide fetilizer easly. Anmonia is cheapest fertilizer and fundation/ base of many frtilizer.
some of the product use enzime to prmote growth is not requred to show fertilzer value by goverment.
20 years ago Japanese agriculture used lot's of this kind of product, but Japanese farmer' head is cool off now for those products.

wetting agent.
there are postive charge wetting agent and negative charge wetting agent. Some pestcide specificly required nonionic wet agent( sticker spreader). You have to know what pesticide you are going to use. when you use liquid fertilizer , if you use liquid fetizer with wetting agent works better.

Ph of water also have some impact. Most tap water PH is adjusted to 7.2 to 7.4 and added floride and chroine/bleach
. Most frtilizer and pestcide are below PH 7. when water PH is adjusted below PH 7 most pesticide last longer and work better.
Understand how fertilizer work, need of plants is more importnat than selection of product (s).

I've used this product for about 3 years now and I think it is excellent. Have a friend who has 4 Vanda Orchids--never bloomed; so I went to the Orchid Forum and read the story of an orchid gardener who said that her Vandas NEVER bloomed UNTIL she used SNG (Spray N Grow). So I suggested that my friend start using SNG. Guess what? Her Vandas have been blooming ever since.

My Autumn Sunset Coleus container plants get to be about 2 1/2 feet tall and the same width. My container-based abutilon grows upward of 8 feet winding into our juniper-trees. (I live in the Boston area--need-to-know).

I'm a fan. (Sure, there's other stuff out there very similar to this one. I need something simple. My life is far too complicated as it is.)

desperationfalls, can you tell us what the label says? If I remember correctly, neither the catalog nor the website said what the ingredients and/or product formula were. The main reason for my hesitation is simply that I'd like more info.

I checked the label--and it said exactly AND ONLY what the link right above this posting says, i.e.
Iron sulfate and Zinc Chloride.
That's it. I don't know anything else about this product.

SPG is am amazing product! My roses love it, my citrus/banana/peach trees love it. My Oleanders love it. Everything loves it! Mix it with the Bills Perfect Fertilizer for a boost. My mom introduced me, and i swear by thstuff. Better than Miracle Gro

I agree with previous post . SNG is fantastic. I have been a faithful user for at least 10'yrs. my flowers LOVE it. It is trace minerals , it is not fertilizer. Bigger healthier plants ... Bigger and more flowers. I use it about every 6 weeks during the growing season. I highly recommend it !
