My order from aahostas. I cannot believe the roots on them, massive and beautiful plants! Thanks for the bonus plant, I can cross that off my list.

Last year my order from New Hampshire Hostas was delivered on two dates. On 3/30/06, the order came and there were no eyes showing in any of the pots. The eyes soon appeared; however, Bright Lights was the last Hosta to show its eyes. The second part of the order arrived on 4/13/06, all the Hostas on that order had leaves. All the Hostas did well from New Hampshire Hostas. New Hampshire Hostas Order 3/30/06 Avocado, Bright Lights (Top Right) Leading Lady, Aristocrat Touch of Class, Bright Lights (Bonus Plant) My Friend Nancy, Bob Deane (Bonus Plant) Final Shipment 4/13/06 Front: Dust Devil, Faithful Heart & Great Expectations. Looking for a place to plant it? One eye would look lovely in my hosta bed. I'd even trade it to you for somepin. Congrats. I've had probs w/ Monrovia in the past. They sold, and I bought, a hosta labeled as H. Little Aurora a few years ago. It wasn't what it was labeled, but turned out to be fine nonetheless. dkB ^ _ ^

I hope you heal quickly. I am desperately afraid of falling especially when I walk the two dogs for three miles. I usually walk one and husband does the other one but today he was busy. They are 27 pounders and the Dachshund is low to the ground and is easy to trip over if I'm not paying attention. I have two friends right now in the hospital from falls like yours...one broke a leg, the other ripped up her knee so they're doing a replacement.

The plants look terrific, and I love 'Sweet Home Chicago' in my yard. 'Queen Josephine' has done well for me too.

It's dark and I SHOULD have taken pix but I got 5 hosta from Naylor's Creek, (yesterday)
and they potted out to 11 individual plants!! How's that for a deal!!!

I got 'Fran Godfrey' a newer S&S sport with chartreuse centers and dark green margins; 'Winter Snow',
another S&S sport and was inspired by ken's comments on his--still haven't seen a pic of his though, so,
I just took his word on it; 'Heat Wave'; 'Robin Hood' and 'One Man's Treasure'!!

Trust me--I did GOOOD!!!

Msjo--you did GOOOOD, too! You made very good choices!!!!
Thanks for letting us see what Denny sends!
Now--let me look at my list!!!! :o) Uhh, I better look at our bank account first!! Gulp!!

P.S. Gary (Naylor's Creek) said they somehow did not get 'Fran Godfrey' in their catalog this year, so if you
think you might want one, they have them!!!

GORGEOUS plants! Congrats! I love my Queen Josephine, but it's growing somewhat slowly. Probably because I have it in pretty consistent shade with only dappled sunshine. But it adds such sparkle to it's corner!

And I got Atlantis this year. Looking forward to seeing it grow and fit into my garden.
