After another couple months of use, I too am finding that the Scooba does best with a smaller defined area. I'm not very good at dimensions, but I'd say you could let it loose in a 12 x 12 room and it would give it a pretty good cleaning before running out of juice. So I would recommend running it a room at a time, or a smaller defined space at a time. The Roomba runs much longer than the Scooba before its power runs out, and it moves a lot faster, so it can cover a lot more space than the Scooba can. Scooba is great on hardwood and tile floors, but NOT on laminate floors like Pergo. (I'm thinking about running it on my saltillo tile in the back yard! I'll probably have to stay with it to make sure it doesn't fall off into the lawn.) There is no bleach in the solution. Here are the ingredients listed on the label: nonionic surfactant, chelating agent, fragrance. The solution label also has a note that says: Not recommended for use on visibly worn, unsealed, unfinished, waxed, or oiled wood floors. One more note after some hard use: I dropped the Scooba unit about two feet into my sink a few weeks ago. It fell pretty hard, as the unit is heavy. It wouldn't run after that, and I was devastated. Then I realized that the front wheel had fallen off into the sink when I dropped it. I just popped the wheel back on, and it has run pefectly ever since. Both my Roomba and Scooba units have had heavy use for several months now (Roomba going on six months), and though my Roomba is looking a little worse for the wear, they are both running just fine.

I had a dull haze on my laminate wood floors, (at close range, and after a few different solvents, it was actually like a yellowish gunk, I got my metal spatula out and it came off after scraping it, like a glue almost....anyway, I tried EVERYTHING I could think of (as well as a few of the suggestions on this site) I had used Krud Kutter on a bathroom remodel to get up the stuck down glue...and it worked like magic...loosened up the glue so it could be scaped away.... SOOOOO, I sprayed some (100% solution) on my floors and initially with a sponge...I wiped it up...it removed a gooey film that was pretty yucky. and FINALLY my floors actually shine again. I'm determined that I will keep them looking good, I'm not going to ever use any commercial (grocery store or otherwise) cleaning products. I'll use vinegar and water and an occasional surface removal with Krud Kutter. It is an amazing product (I'm gonna contact them and see if I can get a kick-back ;) by being a spokesperson for them!! ha!!!

On the same idea as the flower pots above ... I've seen just the rim painted with the chalkboard paint ... then you use chalk to write the name of the plant. Not sure how it would hold up outside though. I painted the inside of my kitchen cabinet doors ... quick spot to jot messages and shopping lists.

Strait, I bought miracle blur the other day and the same thing happens to me. The first time I used it I put it on top of Lancôme Absolue cream. The pilling was awful. The next day I tried it over a moisturizer by Olay. It didn't pill nearly as much but it still annoyed me. It probably took five minutes of inspecting my face and brushing the pills away with a make up sponge. I think the pilling is caused by a reaction of the two products. I was surprised at how small the tube is and how difficult it is to coax the product out. I wonder if mine is old? It comes out as a thick glob when I squeeze hard enough to get a smidgen out. I think I am going to write to L'Oreal and ask for a refund.
