I like your Paradigm better then mine Steve. Mine must get more sun then yours as mine is very gold colored but then again , maybe should get another. Very interesting leaf.

One of my favourites too. I've never captured it in flower so I appreciate your pic, Faye. Those scapes are really well proportioned for the plant. Here's mine planted in 2007. It's doing well despite tree root competition. No garden should be without one.

It's also one of my favorites; so much so that I bought a few more this year.

Mine came as a wee single-eyed TC summer of 2011. He's now 12-14 inches across and has four eyes. Thin margins, not very tall (gets lots of sun) and no quilting yet. Prolly next year he will really start to reveal his potential.

Every beginning of the year I have it difficult to distinguish h.'Paradigm', 'Paul's Glory' and 'Gold Standard', though 'Paradigm' seems to develop wider blue-green margins now.

Not rugged looking yet, but I have no problems with telling it from Gold Standard or Paul's Glory. GS has a lot more leaves that are more slender, fading more in the gold region. Paul's Glory is a broader leaf than Paradigm. Perhaps its time for him to be up-potted. Just got another 50 lb bag of gool ole Canadian crab and lobster shells from Neptune's Harvest in Glouster MA.

Paradigm was one of my first hostas. This year the leaves have started to wrinkle so it is almost mature.

Usually I remove those scapes by now but I am a bit behind in garden maintenance, as usual.

I got mine in 2011, dropped it on it's head in 2012. It's looking good in it's third year.

Looking again at my June 21 picture of h. 'Paradigm', yes it has developed to more blue-green margin and corrugation than 'Gold Standard' and 'Paul's Glory'. I like it! Bernd

My colours look washed out compared to everyone else's. I think I will try another pic.

Here is mine from May of this year. Always a favorite,even though dirt keeps washing downhill to it,it keeps on coming up every year. I got it several years ago at my church bazaar. Phil
