nchfp 'easy hot sauce' recipe help!!!

Okay, before I begin with my question/problem let me state the oblivious: I am a newbie!

Alright, on with my question. I made the NCHFP's "Easy Hot Sauce" recipe today and canned it. The recipe states that it will yield about 4 half pints (=32oz). So, I followed the recipe but MY yield was more like 64oz! I followed the recipe as stated but I used Jalapeno peppers instead of Serrano. I might have messed up with the 8 cups of undrained diced tomatoes, I used store bought canned, diced tomatoes (undrained). Also, when I used my food mill I really cranked it, I had hardly any mush left over when I was done. So, I am a little nervous that my yield is so much greater than the recipe states. Any advice would greatly be appreciated! I have all these little jars that I want to give out for Christmas!
