Yikes, so this is what to expect from my little Dancing Queen! I do really enjoy the yellows. You have some beauties.

This is what I have now, and of course they are all new new, except the S&S is going on two years old.

My Blaze of Glory got hit with the frost and the rabbit this year, I'm really looking forward to this one growing up!

Hey Steve,
The Dancing Queen was acquired from Naylor Creek in 2007. It has never been moved. Fortunately, while the voles ravaged a number of hostas in the same area, they did not touch DQ.
Gesila, I believe Blaze of Glory is the brightest yellow hosta I have ever seen!

Here's a few more:

Shimmy Shake - not quite as bright now, however this one gets brighter as the season progresses.

My hostas are not at their best this year, the wacky weather has taken it's tole, frost especially.

they are all blue spruces.. picea pungens.. which bud out yellow ... go figure

Ilovetogrow, you have some fantastic looking hosta with some eye-popping companion plants. The deep purple coleus with the August Moon took my breath, and I don't care if I have to watch for HVX with it, I'll keep it in a POT.

Your Orange Marmelade is a lot whiter than mine is, but I've tried to keep mine from turning totally white just yet. There is a lot of summer to endure!I have a Sweet Innocence, and note a burgundy coleus with it--guess I need to look for more coleus as companion plants.

Moccasinlanding, I grow my OM in full sun. I have been thinking of starting to move OM and American Prayers to more afternoon shade. I do not grow in the ground here as there is too much root competition from trees so I am able to move my plants freely. I love to add other plants with the hosta. Coleus has been an inexpensive choice and you and I can keep them around in the south for many years. Begonias, heuchera and I am still waiting on some good impatients, also are out there. Great companion plants which have the same growing conditions.
Your gardens have been coming together nicely. Watching yours grow too has been fun. I too use the Walmart pot. I stay away from clay as they dry out too fast. Have a great growing day, Paula

The yellower of my two Guacamoles was growing in afternoon sun and was getting scorched already so I had to move it last weekend to a bit more shade:

Here is my fire island when it cam up in April, it is getting way to much sun. already has crispy tips and it has not even been hot here. How much sun does it want?

I've enjoyed everyone's pictures on this thread and others. I've finally taken the time to figure out how to get back on my Flicker account. Here are a few bright yellows.

Possibly one of the brightest. It's almost the exact color of the euphorbia in the top right hand corner of the picture.
