I used more Yellow River! Since there was so much movement in the granite and I really wanted to see the granite, I did a full granite backsplash. Sorry, in the pictures, kichen is still a work in progress

mustbnuts, that is gorgeous! I have yellow river in my guest bath, and after 2 years I'm still in love with it. I chose a tile that matched the cream in my granite and a trim piece that matched the dark brown. The neutral tile coordinates beautifully with the granite and doesn't compete.

Thanks. Glad (another poster on here) think she is in NY, used cream or white beveled subway tiles with the Yellow River and they look so pretty! I love her kitchen. There are several more posters on here with Yellow River so I hope they chime in. Here are some other pictures, close up and personal.

I love how they were able to book the granite so it flows from the backsplash onto the counter. You can get a really good idea of this from the first picture above. Gosh, I see these pictures and fall more in love with my granite every day!

Can anyone here tell me if the yellow river has a strong hue of blue where the gray is.. I am looking at a stone called yellow river but it looks nothing like these in pictures here. Is it alot darker once down in the kitchen than looking at it upright in the stone yards.. Thanks

We just purchased Yellow River for our guest bath. It is predominately yellow with some brown, a little red,and gray streaks. Not much blue to speak of.
