Hope all the boys with their injuries are getting better. Yes they will always call and sometimes if the child acts funny they will really make your life miserable. You would think that boys never have accidents they way some of them can act. I was always at the school for some bruise or another with my two and they usually did it to each other, lol. They fought all the time and still don't get along. John says his oldest boy was always good. He said when they went to someones house they could have a box of toys right in front of them and they wouldn't move from where he told them to sit unless he told them it was ok even if the other person told them it was ok to play. I told him thats because he trains us all like the dogs, lol. He makes you want to mind him, lol. I often wonder if my boys would have been different if I had met him sooner. It has surely helped with my daughter. She acts very different around him than she does with her father and he will do anything in the world to please him. I thought he was going to faint when he heard her back talk her father on the phone once, lol. He just expects you to behave and thats it they do it, lol. Even my boys don't act up in front of him. His younger son got arrested once and sat in jail 3 days and wouldn't call and tell him until his brother found out and called us, lol. He would have stayed there forever rather than tell his father he got in trouble. He gets this look on his face and it makes you stand up straighter, lol.

all nigra are total dogs in my yard ... WOOF!!! ... even the healthy ones look sickly all the time ... i wish they would die.. but they wont ... which i take to mean they are NOT really sick ... BTW ... new house????? how big is the yard???? pungens will grow about 1 foot to 18 inches per year once they get going [see pic of hoopsi below] ... you will need a 15 to 20 foot circle for the next decade or 2... give them space... if you want a blue one.. get a blue one... or even bluer.. a named variety ... DO NOT BUY A GREEN ONE.. AND HOPE SOME DAY IT WILL TURN BLUE ... sylvestris and strobus are forest trees .... IMHO ... growing 3 to FIVE FEET per year.. inside of a year or two ... they will need 20 to 30 feet of ground space inside of a decade ... is that really what you want ... and picea abies are not that far behind .... google any of them.. and flip to the images side.. to see the gigantic potential of all of them .... i did the same thing you are thinking ... using species as backbone... and i will yell... ON MY FIVE ACRES.. 8 TO 10 YEARS LATER.. SOME OF THEM ARE TOO BIG ... frankly.. i think you are focusing on the BARGAIN.. and missing the point ... there are a lot of very nice named cultivars that will have a much more manageable footprints in the future .... do NOT jump simply because of the bargain ... all of these grow in native mountain ranges.. which have rocky sparse high drainage low fertility soil ... so ignore that variable... but i have no clue about the alkaline soil issue and will defer to others ... IMHO.. sand is the best for any tree .. and conifers are trees .... and throw in shrubs also .. sand is only an issue with water loving annuals/perennials ... and bulbs that need a good deep soil to thrive ... how about some pix of the new moonscape.. that you want to turn into a landscape ... ken a one gal hoopsi planted in 2003 .... Thanks, all. I'll check out the new links/blogs. Socks, I looked at the cross stitch forum, but I think it's all counted cross stitch, not stamped. I've used a lot of Martha's patterns, & really like them. My mom recently made a very nice baby quilt using tea towel patterns & leaving off the days of the week. They can be found at colonialpatterns.com if your WM no longer carries them. And a lot less expensive than ebay. I often trace my selected pictures. A full page from a coloring book can be reduced to the size you want. I've done a doll quilt for a g'dau on 4" blocks. THAT was interesting :-) but she absolutely loved it!! toni ne, the outline embroidery is not like crewel, IMO. I tried crewel one time & didn't finish the project :-/ With outline, you stitch along the outer edges of the images with needle & floss and inside the image is left 'open'. Some patterns you'd fill in but that depends on the look you want. Thanks, again, for all the help. I really appreciate it!

I know...it speaks to me. I might have to get over there tomorrow am and snatch it up. just what I need, another piece of furniture......all I keep doing is taking stuff out of my house to make the house look bigger. Oh well, the next one is larger and I need to add some stuff to fill it. (the ground isn't broken yet....)
