Tomato Jam and/or Preserves ... suggestions?

OK, our daughter also gave us 20 pounds of nice tomatoes, and I thought I'd try making a Jam or Preserve with them. From what I've read online (and was told by a dear old man a couple of years ago) this old-fashioned food is very tasty.

Our church bazaar this past weekend was an opportunity for me to sell 9 different items I've made this summer/fall ... and to speak with many people who seem to love the old-fashioned favorites that are rarely available commercially. They wanted Pickled Beets with Onions, Cherry Preserves, Quince Jelly, and Huckleberry Jam. I am able to make everything but Huckleberry Jam for them next year, and thought I'd like to try Tomato Jam, too.

Any suggestions, hints, or ideas you might have? There are numerous recipes online and in books, so that's not a problem. Recommendations would be good, though.

Thanks again.

Kathy
