Heuchera Alphabet C summer 2012
Comments (4)Caramel, one of the most robust Heuchera I have. I bought it large and it's stayed that way. Here's about three surrounding Hosta Regal Splendor. Caramel with the sun on it. Can-Can, kind of plain, but this was the first Heuchera I ever bought to see if they would overwinter in my yard. So this paved the way for more to come into the garden. Crimson Curls, planted in '08. Over the years they've shrunk and are less purplish than before. A little disappointed in this one....See MoreHosta Alphabet - the B's, please!
Comments (22)This one is representative of a pet peeve of mine. Ordered by mail, in 2006 it was expensive and incredibly small for a hosta that isn't a mini or small. It grew a little bit last year, but not enough to make me feel any better. Not much sign of the maple leaf pattern on the leaves, tho' that's probably because it is so young. I think sellers should warn customers if a hosta is a tiny tc. For what I paid, I expected something a bit larger. --Brother Stephan, photo making it look bigger than it was.-- ~Bunnycat...See MoreHosta Alphabet - R

Comments (7)Many "s's". Saint Elmos Fire. I've had it for ages and it's finally looking pretty good. The color is amazing. I couldn't quite capture the bright, lime green look in the early summer. I'm going to post a few more or this on a separate thread Sea Thunder - new and a good grower Sea Thunder later in the year Seafire - another one I've had for years (tried to kill). Though its still small it's getting to be the right shape of leaf and right color. Sentimental Journey So Sweet Spring Fling Spritzer Spritzer showing the unuaual "layered" look OK Wayne - I'm with you on Mickey Mouse. If you need counciling, so do I! I couldn't look at this flower without thinking of the dancing flowers in some old Disney film. Upraised arms...cute face...
