Are you using the Eleanors by itself? The directions say to use it alone. My problem is that I like to mix different fertilizers and hormones to feed plants according to their needs. I have tried to isolate a few plants and use only the Eleanors, but, I am simply not that organized. I would love to know if others have used Eleanors exclusively!!

I also just found Eleanor in the Charleys Greenhouse catalog I just received yesterday, didn't look in their website but I assume it would be there too.

I find it at DRUG STORES of all places! My Rite-Aid carries it, and also saw some at a hardware store. Just try calling around your neighborhood...you might just find it.
I have used it alone and with other things (Superthrive, Shultz plant food, etc). So I can't really say what does the wonders, but I do notice things perk up when I use it, especially if I go around spraying everything with it. I usually put it in my "watering water-jug" so they get some every time I water too. I didn't use it over the winter though. Of course winter here is just a couple of months. Ha.

I finally found some today!!!! I'm so excited. I've tried so many darn stores that they listed on their website. Oh, and it was half off, too- $7 for a quart! whoo hoo!

I've been using it for a few months, exclusively. I've been very impressed. All my Hoyas and Dischidias look like a million bucks and I've gotten scads of blooms this year. I've even got a couple of new Hoyas that I'd gotten as rooted cuttings that were not doing too hot that bounced back and now have new growth. Not long ago, I posted that my pubicalyx is not an enthusiastic bloomer - that I get a bloom or two now and then. Well, today I have 4 - mark that, FOUR - that will be opening most likely tonight! I've never had four at the same time! (And if I could see the back of it, who knows - maybe there are more!)

Anyway, I got my first batch (two quarts w/the free 8 oz.) from Charley's Greenhouse Supply catalog. I was impressed and called Eleanor to get more and she sells in quantity only. I got 4 gallons of the stuff! (She also sells cases of the quarts...) When you buy it this way, it's only $16 a gallon plus shipping, which ends up making it $20 a gallon.

Eleanor told me it's most beneficial to use it for foliar feeding, though I've been using it in water at times, too.

We have Eleanor's at Longs. I've used it on and off for years, it's always been around, I like to think of it as California's secret :-)
