Yes I'm using it and its like magic. I bought a gallon of it. I have seen a big difference to my plants actually some of my hoyas have penducles right now.

I like your story about how you ended up going with that name. My 9 year old son wears a patch on one of his eyes, and the kids at school called him pirate kid.(not mean though)
I have been using vf-11 for about 3 years and have almost had to cut back because of how crazy the growth got. My Christmas cactus (white) is still bluming and it began last summer at the end of August/early September. This year I have had blooms on my finlaysonii, kerrii, and I have a shepherdii cutting that is blooming after having been potted/rooted for a mere 4 months. My sister has become a dealer in her town (we live in Montana do I dare call it a "city" to a New York gal like you?) ;) I have noticed that the leaves on my vf-11 plants are much darker, firmer and larger than others that I have purchased before begining the vf-11. But I could go on forever about this stuff, you really don't want to get me started. I think there are 3 gallons of it in my garage. If I ever heard they were going to quit making it, I think I would buy up every last bottle I could find. Ha!

It's about time, girl! I've used it a little over a year now - gone through 3 gallons and have started on my 4th. I've decided it's amazing stuff, too. Got my sis started on it - she has a nursery in a small town about 20 miles south of here. Now she can't stop talking about it and is selling it to her customers. She's brought a tree back from what she thought was the brink of death, and now she's trying it on her tomato plants. (She says she always has problems with some fungus and wants to see if this will help...)

As for my Hoyas, I was starting to think this was going to be one of those stingy years for flowers, but mine are starting to rev up now. Obovata is covered with growing buds (I counted a dozen last time I looked...), kerrii is finally taking off (and even my 2 year old reverse-variegated kerrii has a bloom on it...), pubicalyx 'Splash' has buds growing, rubra has been blooming and has more coming, my little serpens has all kind of peduncles - though none have had successful flowers yet (this is one I could never grow pre-VF-11.) I have a macrophylla that was looking a little crappy this spring and I split it up into smaller pots and started spraying the heck out of the smaller pieces (and a larger one I have...) Most are shooting new growth like crazy. I love the stuff! (BTW, I won't even go into what it's done for my Haworthias!)

I've been using Eleanor's for the past 3 years and I just love it. I brought a Hoya MacGillivrayi back from the brink of death by using Elenaor's. I spray mist all of my plants with it.

I have been reading about Eleanor's but am unable to find it in our town. Does anyone have any idea where it can be bought?? As I want to try it.

Margie try a google search for Eleanor's.

You can get it from Charley's Greenhouse Supply. I think Eleanor only sells it in quantity, but I'd sure ask her about it... I buy 4 gallons at a time and it costs around $90 with shipping (heavy=expensive!)

I get mine at Long's Drug store. So if you have those...you're in luck. Also Rite Aid carries it sometimes.
On the Eleanors website there is a list of places that are supposed to carry it. Call around to your local drug stores & nurserys. Ask thom to order it if they don't have it.

In the meantime, if you serch for Eleanor's, somewhere on that site is listed their location where one can write (w/ $3 for shipping) & they send a smaple bottle (not small, let me check, 8 oz.).

Many of my Hoyas are bursting w/ new growth: Obovata, oldest Kerrii + its 2 progeny, Lacunosa, DavidCummingi, several Crassipes. No sign of bloom yet, but I'm hopeful!

My Ceropegia woodii just had its first bloom, pretty, odd bloom, not super exciting, but I'm hoping the Hoyas will have seen the bloom & get inspired!

I am trying it as well. I'm noticing lots of new growth on my DS-70, Bella and some on Lacunosa. I was on vacation for a week, so I need to get back into the swing of things with it. I'm not holding out much hope for peduncles, but more new leaves would be supernice as well!

I haven't used it yet but the 15-85-55 is unique among fertilizers so the results should also be unique.
