salsa from frozen tomatoes?

I am feeling very insecure about my tomatoes. First, the vines suffered from blight this year and have been looking awful. Now it's been cold - only two degrees above freezing. I am insecure about using the tomatoes on the vine for salsa. So, my questions are two -

1. Am I being paranoid? Are these tomatoes okay to use for salsa?

2. If the answer is no, has anyone used frozen tomatoes to make salsa? I suspect the texture will be mushy, but is it somwhat okay?

I feel like I can deal with "iffy" tomatoes for everything else - I can freeze them, I can freeze pasta sauce, I can freeze soup, I can freeze pizza sauce ... the one thing I am REALLY lacking at this point is Annie's Salsa!!!! Should I just pressure can it and not worry about the tomatoes?

thanks ... as usual...

Ann
