Well, Joanne, let's say i liked it enough to spend half a day trying to get my old camera software to work on windows 8, only to haul out my old XP machine, and then deciding i have to build a direct ac power supply for my camera, which requires me to 3d-print a model of its battery, so the wires and connectors go in the right place.... If it all works out, i'll spend a lot of effort and running around on a neat gadget, which can then do automatic time-lapse photos every hour for a month or more :-) I'll use it once and feel greatly accomplished ;-p Any questions? Juliet.... Neal Berrey is Stunning! It's scape height is perfect, the book says 18 inches...no way.... mine is at least 24 inches on the shortest scape I measured this morning and 28 inches on the tallest. In a clump it is just flat out gorgeous! The colours are so clean and pure. It polys often, just adding more beauty to it, if that is possible. The substance is wonderful and the soft folding edges make it appear to be sculpted. The foliage is alway clean and a very nice dark green. It is also low , making the scapes appear even taller. When it is in mass bloom more folks stop and look at it and go "Wow" then on almost any other clump I have. It is surrounded by much newer, more expensive,Tet's...no matter...it still draws your eye, right to it. It is fairly long blooming and has a decent bud count. IMHO...it just grabs you, when you walk by a clump of it. It is just "PURDY"! what can I say............... Rick

Its a beautiful photo, but there is something strange about it. I think its a combination of two photos. Here's why. The stars are round dots. To produce a round star image in a time exposure the camera (or telescope) has to mounted on a tracking drive. Because a tracking drive slowly rotates the optic device, ground objects in the image will be 'smeared'. If the camera is on a tripod and held steady for a time exposure, ground object will not smear and the stars will leave arc shaped streaks. This photo shows both non-smeared ground objects and perfectly circle shaped stars. The only way that can happen is with a short exposure, probably too short to capture the detail seen in the sky. The sky shows blotches of bluish color. These may have been added or are are patches of blue sky showing through wispy clouds. Stars could not be seen in the blue lighted parts - too much light and stars would not be seen through wispy clouds. This leads me to believe that the stars were digitally added to a wonderful early night sky. The sun glow is still seen on the horizon.

Awesome project and interesting layout. My wife usually takes complete photos of all my construction projects however your Go-Pro idea is even better to use, perhaps 3 or even 4 devices, when I commence build of my third and hopefully last dream home, late spring or early summer this year. Keep up the good work and we look forward to more photos and videos.
