My favorite indeterminate they carry is the Beefmaster; vigorous growth, very good disease resistance, moderate fruit production but excellent taste for a large tomato. I seriously doubt you'd be disappointed in this one....

I was at lowes and walmart a couple days ago and the plants at both ofthese places looked awful.Make sure what ever you get are healthy looking ,no yellowing or brown spots on the leaves and make sure the dont have TYLCV.If your lucky they will have just got new plants in.Big beef or better boy are 2 that do well for me.good luck

Last year I bought a cherry from them and lost the tag. Actually, the squirrels ran off with it.
Went back later and they had Husky. It was alright, but no where near as good as the one I lost the tag.

I'm limited to the HD in Marathon, and usually check with them to see when they are getting a delivery. I try to be there that day.

Bonnie tries to grow plants that will work where they are selling them, so I'm hoping I can't really go wrong with what they offer.

If you like Cherry Tomatoes, the Bonnie 'Husky Cherry Reds' have done great for me in the past. They are stocky dwarf plants with tasty meaty tomatoes.

Thank you so much Tom for the offer. Usually I start out with seeds from TGS, then work in some "bought" plants during the season. Almost without exception, the bought plants were better for me. This year, I'm just going with bought and not even fooling with seed at all.

Hey cindeea, it was Husky that I bought last year. They are such pretty plants that I use them in pots around the yard.
This year I plan to buy them the first of every month, so I have them fruiting longer.

If you guys can think of any non-cherry types that you would recommend from Bonnie, please let me know.

Corrie, I have staggered purchasing the husky Cherries like that too so I have fruit all winter. This year though I amgoing strictly with TGS seeds and the volunteers I had come up in the planter from last year's dropped fruit. They are some FAT little seedlings! Good luck and let us know how your tomato season grows!

I'm still faithful to my Sweet 100's, and I like Park's Whopper for beefsteak. I purchased Early Girl this year as well. People seemed to like it when I worked at the garden center, so I thought I'd try it.

Thank you Mam! Just a messy yard and a good pickup truck load of coconuts. I'm not complaining! LOL

junky! that's it! I couldn't remember the name of the cherry that the squirrels got the tag. Sweet 100 rings a bell. I'm almost positive that is the cherry I was looking for.
I'll keep an eye out for Early Girl too.

cap'n, thanks for that site. It's a new one to me. I noticed all the heat tolerant varieties are sold out! lol

Sweet Baby Girl is new to me this year. I have 3 or 4 healthy seedlings coming up from the few seeds I secured. I sure hope to have a decent plant or two. They sound tasty. Another new cherry I am trying is "Sugary" from Park Seed.

Corrie-I was turned on to Sweet 100's by my Bro-in-law in Chicago a few years ago. When we were visiting I ate a whole plateful off his bushes like candy. Dennis kept telling me I was gonna get sick. I told him this is fruit of the Gods. Tomatoes don't make you sick! They are a pretty tasty store bought plant. I have decided to stretch my taste buds though and am only holding on to my HCRs from the past and Yellow pear from last year. I am into all new heirloom and hybrid varieties from seed this year. If I fail at growing em all from seed, well, I can always find Bonnie at my HD. I have the time and energy after my surgeries to be experimental this season and I am having a great time (OBSESSION) with tomatoes. Good growing to us all!

cindee i just found that site today.It is good to know there is some place to get plants ready to be planted in just a few days without having to rely on the big box stores.I went to 3 different places before i left back out on the road to try and get some replacements for a few of mine that werent doing well or had to be pulled and the plants they had were pitiful,not much of a variety either.Even though the site has alot of them sold out there still is a decent amount to choose from.

Our night time temperatures don't start to drop until next month, October. I'll start planting then. Also, right now, we are getting too much rain.

cindeea, saying you have the time and "energy" is great news. That means you are feeling better! I'm jealous! but happy as all get out for you too!

I'm pretty sure that it was Sweet 100 that I had bought and could not remember the name. Bonnie tends to grow almost the same plants each year, so I'm hoping they offer it again this year.

Plus, now I have a whole new list of plants to try! Some of them I remember seeing last year, but I didn't buy them.

I checked pots this morning. I have 12 7gal, and 14 10gal. I think I'm in trouble! But my pet yard squirrels and neighborhood iguanas are going to be real happy!
