I'm in a pickle, please help - 9 day pickle question

I'm making the 9 day icicles from the book of small batch preserving. I got invited to a camping trip this weekend, and I'm not about to turn it down for a batch of pickles! Fri and Sat would be days 7 and 8 which entail pouring the brine into a pot and re-boiling it each day and pouring it back over the pickles to stand until Sunday, the day 9 that I will be canning them.

Question- if I want to hold off for 2 days, what's my best option? Refrigerate? Just can them on day 6? I can probably lug them with me and figure something out ( I know people near where I'm going to be and can use their kitchen) but that would be a major pain.

I figure if anyone can give me good solid advice, you guys can! Thanks in advance!

One more thing, it's normal for the brine to be cloudy, right? I've only made the quick pickles before....
