I'll be landing in the Yucatan just as you're getting started! I was really hoping I could make it to one of your gatherings. I was hoping I'd have cool info to bring with me, too. I'll be doing some Ag research while I'm there, touring several sustainable agriculture sites along the Riviera Maya and have a tour booked with the largest hydroponic house down that way, too. Maybe next time.

Sylvia I am heart broken that I can not attend and get to spend some time with you an your state known garden. I have so looking forward to our next event but unfortunately I am a working person and do not get off until noon most Saturdays. I had such a wonderful dish I wanted to share along with green tomato chow chow and a green tomato pie but alas they will have to wait until another time.

At least I have the food and wine festival at Epcot to attend and I am attending several of the culinary demonstrations by world famous chefs. Anyone who would like to attend on days I have off I would be more than happy to get two of you in for free per day. Linda

I'm growing Orlando Eggplant this year based on Silvia's recommendations last year. My family and I really like it. If I have some ripe at party time I'll bring you a few.

The Orlando Eggplant is a F1 (first cross) Hybrid. Not much reason to save the seed.
